  1. Sorry to nitpick, but the alleged line was: 'You should never say bad things about the dead, only good… Joan Crawford is dead. Good.'
  2. Putting things in perspective, a 30-minute massage is very different than a 30-minute escort session. Bottom line: Every escort does business in different ways. If it works for you, by all means, go for it. For me personally, wear & tear on my body is not something I take lightly, thus, I would never offer micro-timeframes.
  3. You are correct. That's considered damned skinny. I bet that bitch can fit into sample sizes.
  4. To buy a German Steinway is to have a beautiful instrument in your home. The people I know who have them bought them because they wanted a lifelong piece like this in their home, much like the OPs mother. They require care and proper tuning. It's an investment, not firewood. There's still a place for these kinds of goods: It's not a brand that's focusing on the Millennial market anyway. While the US market might be shrinking, Steinway has been smart in building up their Asian presence. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/10/business/international/steinways-grand-ambitions-in-china.html
  5. I much prefer your rendition of Number 6 & 9
  6. Great show whether you speak fluent Spanish or not. Novela-style, which means the drama comes fast and the plot twists are off the wall. Lots of LGBT-inclusive plots. Lots of great costuming. Lots of beautiful location shots of CDMX. Netflix knows they have a winner and are in production on S2.
  7. S3 does the '80s perfectly. It's really fun to watch. The action sequences are the best yet and I think it's one of the most fun ensembles of young actors on TV today.
  8. Finn's work on 'The I Love You Song' is incredible. I still remember sitting there at Circle in the Square, hearing the audience laugh a bit at Celia Keenan-Bolger on the first verse and then go dead silent for the rest of it. Pin-drop silent. And then quiet sobbing. It's a great song.
  9. I get a lot of the same musicality from Avenue Q as I do from Bat Boy. I'd also say that Spelling Bee is a bit similar as well.
  10. Re: Ashman Michael Riedel's book Razzle Dazzle has a really interesting chapter on Ashman and his final-days involvement with Disney's Beauty and The Beast. Some touching and relevant stories to this thread. https://www.amazon.com/Razzle-Dazzle-Broadway-Michael-Riedel/dp/1451672179
  11. Bat Boy is another one of my favorite musicals
  12. The old topic was about being blocked by someone. I riffed on that. The line is clear. Lighten up
  13. I was blocked by Donald Trump and Lisa Vanderpump on Twitter. I'm quite proud of that. I this this thread should be turned into a 'Who Blocked You Best on Social Media'
  14. I've had my HPV vax for awhile and agree with what was said above, just get the damn thing. After seeing what male friends have gone through when it flares up, it's worth the time and trouble to protect yourself.
  15. She's crazy as cat shit. Can you blame them?
  16. If we're talking derogatory, racially stereotypical terms, yeah, I'd say it is.
  17. This feels like a branch-off discussion of a previous thread mincing the term 'thug' 'Redneck' is the same thing, but for a white guy. I'll wait for the outrage.
  18. Talk about stealing someone's thunder... This CA production just swooped in and took the spotlight off the off-Broadway cast. Interesting casting: Exactly why it's eclipsed the NY version (well, so far). https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/mj-rodriguez-amber-riley-george-salazar-tackle-little-shop-horrors-1225156
  19. The Netflix doc was wholly better produced. It moved well, told the story in a coherent, cinematic way and did a great job of figuring out who the true victims of the con were.
  20. I blame Tippi and birdseed
  21. Ah. Gotcha. That he was a NEXUS user with access to GE, but not GE first might have had something to do with it. He was approved on the Canadian side for NEXUS. Something tells me that US CBP would use that as an excuse to slow someone down if they wanted to.
  22. Ellen Greene, the original Audrey, in 2015... Still giving a fully-realized character in one single song. You could literally watch this not knowing a thing about the show and understand her completely.
