  1. I saw a takeoff of "All the things wrong with Prometheus", and one of them was "When running away from the big circular ship rolling on its side, run OUT of the path of where it's rolling".
  2. And yes, I'm totally digging Yara. "I'm not demanding, but I wouldn't mind a go". Doubt if I got that quote completely right.
  3. Melisandre said she didn't decide. She does as the Lord of Light commands her. She shut down Jon Snow when he asked her NOT to resurrect him after the battle.
  4. are you logged into Rentmen? The site shows more information when you're logged in.
  5. Isn't the Mother of Dragons Jon's aunt? She's the youngest sister of Rhaegar Targareyan, and Jon is (supposedly) Rhaegar and Lyanna's son.
  6. Nymeria (Arya's wolf) is a bit more active in the books, Arya is having dreams of her, and saw her in the distance once while travelling - can't remember if she was with the Hound at that point or not (SO much detail to remember in the books). A friend was so afraid that Ghost died when Jon Snow came back to life, that Ghost had sacrificed himself for Jon. He was very relieved the next week.
  7. I work with a number of these people. "oh, I didn't pay attention to that" is one's refrain.
  8. Tristan Baldwin, if you EVER make it to Detroit, this is happening...
  9. "Your parole officer is really cute. Have the two of you ever done it?"
  10. a local masseur I've seen a few times keeps popping up in my Facebook 'suggested friends' list, probably because his phone number is in my contacts, so I know his real name.
  11. I noticed that too! She was bundled up against the cold throughout the episode (maybe even in last season's finale? Didn't notice). She always wore flimsy things before, the Lord's Light kept her warm.
  12. I have heard that in the books (I haven't gotten that far), Catelyn Stark survived having her throat cut at the Red Wedding. She was thrown into the river and became something mystical - probably the "Stoneheart" rocksinurhead mentioned above. So far, the show hasn't touched that plotline at all.
  13. no big surprises in last night's show, except Melisandre at the end. Did not see THAT coming.
  14. Agreed. That is Lancel Lannister, it's the same actor, but in the first season or two, he had awful long hair and much different mannerisms. I think the long hair was to make him look a bit like Jaime, which was why Cersei took him to bed. Once they cut his hair & had him join the Sparrows, and show a bit more chest :-), he was much hotter.
  15. I've done the same, in the steamroom of a bathhouse. No problems with the fillings but I kept thinking that everyone could hear it rattling against my molars.
  16. is that a trick question? :-)
  17. imagine him showing up at the office as the new hire.
  18. Josh Long :-) Sadly, I believe he's retired from porn.
  19. He's coming to Michigan in a week. Is it definitely a legit massage? No erotic aspects? Is he naked?
  20. This is awesome, and I definitely fall into the dog parent category more than dog lover. But she rarely wakes me up. She likes sleeping more than I do.
  21. When I was a kid I read the Richard Blade stories - science fiction with a hunky hairy hero who got a LOT of sex. The parents would have freaked if they'd known what was really in the books. No gay action that I ever found, but I remember one line in particular: "his enormous lingam a tower upthrust". Another where his hard-on burst through his flimsy leather breeches.
  22. I've read that Brienne of Tarth's storyline is greatly enhanced in the show, she's not that important a character in the books. I'm not far enough in the books to tell.
  23. [spoiler alert] - I was pretty excited when browsing around the game of thrones wiki (a bad habit for spoilers) when I read that there was another surviving Targareyan baby; he'd be Dany's nephew, but about her age. I think the show is skipping that storyline.
  24. I'm very excited. I am making my way through the books (nearly done with book 3, but it's slow going), and re-watched nearly all of it during the marathon on HBO in December or January. There are so many characters & plotlines that I got a lot more out of it on the second viewing.
