  1. The main thing that has attracted me about "Butt Seriously" is the idea of gaping. I've never had that kind of control, and the author's "training" protocol seems like it can help to achieve gaping.
  2. Apart from that, I also picked up the Matthew McConaughay book. "Greenlights." haven't cracked it open yet though
  3. I recently picked up "Butt Seriously," by Dr. Evan Goldstein. it's all about, you guessed it, anal. Insightful stuff actually. I'm looking forward to trying some of the things suggested in the chapters. Things I've never experienced
  4. Believe it or not, that's actually EXTREMELY helpful. It's the most nuanced take that I've come across haha. All the reading I've done prior fell into two camps: 1) "Amway is wonderful, the best thing ever, peerless, entrepreneurial, the ultimate vehicle to financial independence." And 2) "Amway is a scam/cult, and its followers/evangelists are psycho. Stay away at all costs." So, to have someone express an opinion that acknowledges both sides and finds a middle ground... I hadn't seen that yet!
  5. I wanna know people's thoughts: I was approached by someone (we were in a restaurant; they were at the table next to me; I initiated conversation when I inquired about their yummy-looking appetizer) about Amway. I hadn't heard of Amway before, so I looked it up later. On the one hand, it seems to be a reputable company with well-regarded products and the bonus structure actually looks pretty sweet, if it is real. On the other hand, there's also a TON of negative online about Amway (particularly if you go down Reddit threads... which I did... it got ugly haha). The couple that talked to me (though the wife really did all the talking) kept saying how they also had a mentor who was teaching them how to "build cashflow assets" (never heard that term, and even after looking it up, I'm a little unsure of what it means or how it's created, other than very vague descriptions). They offered to "open a door" for me to their mentors and asked for my number. I gave it because, at the very least, I was curious. Now, I'm set to meet with them at a coffee shop. On the one hand, the whole thing came across as kinda ... suspicious? unscrupulous? shiesty? which was confirmed by my readings on Reddit. On the other hand, the couple seems nice, and the info I've seen about Amway from that website or other sites like the BBB make it seem pretty legit and lucrative. I'm definitely gonna sit down with this couple just to see what they have to say, but I'm curious if anyone has had a similar experience with this company or one like it?
  6. "Pursed lips bullshit" doesn't seem an accurate representation of what was stated before, as if my original post was simply about tut-tutting young men flexing. I ain't displeased with guy who are proud of their efforts, and I do enjoy eye-candy. It's the inconsideration to occupy all the mirror space because some guys are so in love with their own reflection that they forget that mirrors are also functional for things like shaving, brushing teeth, general hygienic preparation for the day, and not just vanity-stations. And it's the criminality of filming in intimate spaces with potentially nude men when, as stated by other responders, many of these gyms expressly forbid and post signs prohibiting such behavior. But if someone can't go by a reflective surface without attempting to seduce it, then I suppose such signs don't really matter to that someone. I suppose I wasn't clear in making this distinction in my original post. To Smokey, who referred to the behavior as "ignorant and boorish," you hit the nail on the head.
  7. I have been thinking a lot recently about how exactly my specific sexual interests came to be. Sexting can be me aroused to nearly the point of climaxing, without touch. Why is that? Is that how it is for all guys, or is that more exclusive to me? I think it's because I was raised with strict religious principles around purity. Sex was bad. Gay was worse. So I kept celibate till after 30 years old! And I tried so hard to quit masturbating. And I would never look at porn. So, if I found other media that TALKED about sex, I would listen intently and it became my outlet. I remember seeing Sue Johanson talking about the different tastes semen can take on with different diets. I lapped it up. A friend would tell me about his sex-scapades. I savored it. Even "puberty education" videos got me off. Why? Because I resisted my urges to touch myself, to watch porn, or to breach the topic with others, so it's like my body learned to take whatever stimulus I actually would give it and run with it. And I allowed it because it felt safe--I was crossing boundaries, with myself or others, and I wasn't doing anything technically "wrong" from the religious perspective. This is just my theory about why sexual talk is able to get me outrageously horny. There's others--I have a kink for voyeurism, and I think it's because I never looked at porn, so if I ever saw a naked guy in real life (locker rooms, showers, that guy who gave me surf lessons in Barbados and had a loose swimsuit and I saw his penis at certain angles), it was a highly charged event. Now as a grown man, a little bit of "voyeur" role play with my partners is hot, hot, hot. So, my question is, for those willing to share, do you have any kinks/fetishes/desires that you know exactly where they originate for you?
  8. You're speaking my language. I love Philip Glass. My favorite operas by him are "The Witches of Venice" and "Les Enfants Terribles" and "The CIVIL warS" and "The Voyage." The man sure is prolific. I've never heard "The Perfect American," but it's on the list
  9. A magical place where people can pick heavy things up and put them back down over and over until their bodies change composition.
  10. Love it! One of my favorite authors frequently says, "Nobody wants to be the oldest guy at the frat party. At 30, it's sad. At 40, it's creepy."
  11. I used to not like the operatic style of vocals. It always came across as shrieky or stuffy to me. If something featured an operatic vocalist, I was automatically turned off. So, of course, opera itself was lost on me. And then one day... I saw "Doctor Atomic" by John Adams. My mind was changed. I realized the dramatic possibilities of opera. I started to check out more contemporary, then worked my way back. I discovered Kaija Saariaho's "L'Amour d'Loin," which led me to Messiaen's "Saint Francois d'Assisi," which led me to Debussy's "Pelleas et Melisande," which led me to Wagner's "Tristan und Isolde" and the Ring Cycle. Etc. But I never forgot how John Adams was the one that changed my mind. Anyone else have a similar work that "unlocked" opera for you?
  12. This is more a rant/pet-peeve, but I'd like to get people's takes on this: When I'm at the gym, I shower in the locker room. I'm not shy about walking around naked. I figure, it's a locker room, it's one of the few places where I shouldn't have to worry about being "modest." But more and more frequently, I see these young dumb things in the locker rooms, taking up all the mirror space so that they can flex for themselves and their friends, sometimes with a camera set up or their friends filming them. On the one hand, I think, "Gee, there are much worse things for young men to get into than fitness and pride in their physicality. And if I had a smoking body like them, I'd probably have trouble not seducing the mirror." On the other hand, I think, "There are people here trying to shave, brush their teeth, shower, etc. Get out of the way of the mirrors, you dopes, and put the cameras away for Chrissake--there's naked people around. Have some decency." I'm also slightly slanted on this because I know someone whose kid was doing that, did record a naked guy coming out of the shower, posted it anyway, and charges were pressed (and rightly so), so I'm far from a "neutral party" on the issue. So where do y'all land with this? 1) Good for them boys for dedicating themselves to their fitness and being proud of their results. 2) Drop the ego, boys, and make room in the locker room for the grown-ups, and for God's sake, put the damn self phone away. 3) Some other option I haven't thought of?
  13. I'm coming up on 40--still got a few years, but the body is changing. I'm getting white/grey hairs (in my chest, anyway. My head is always shaved). I'm fully in the habit of getting up 2-3 times to pee at night. My question is, for the gentlemen 50, 60+ here in these forums, what advice would you give to a late-30-something who wants to keep his edge and vitality?
  14. Reading through this, I clearly didn't read the original post thoroughly (the one that spells out that there are indeed extras)!
  15. I did not see many masseurs who jumped out to me on RM or MF. Anyone know of other masseurs in Albuquerque who may not be on those sites who provide erotic/sensual touch?
