My Dad always complained that there was no meat in the mincemeat pie. His mother made it with venison. I never got a piece of Grandma's pie.

I haven't eaten a banana in over a year. My doctor says my potassium is too high, but that's probably due to one of the meds he prescribed.

We had a four hour drive home so my friend wanted to stop so he could get a fish sandwich with extra tartar sauce to eat it in my car. Big mistake!

I have an old clock radio. The alarm is set for 5:30 Monday through Thursday and off the rest of the week. I'm using the phone alarm for naps.

Five minutes ago I was reading posts in the Lounge when my microwave turned itself on. I couldn't turn it off - none of the buttons worked. I had to unplug it.

Cyber security is expensive. We pay $30 per month for an alarm system. They just added $20 per month for security on the alarm system. We're going to decline it.

I saw him too at the Nob Hill and later in Atlanta I think in 2005. He said the same thing, that he was nearly finished school.

I never learned how to smoke. I sure hated coming home from bridge club when I was in high school. My hair and clothes reeked of smoke. It was twenty years later that the city banned smoking in public places.

My great grandfather worked in Shanghai. I don't know how much he liked it. He's buried there. You can visit his grave for me.

So you see your patients at the appointed time. Most of my doctors see me at least a half hour after the scheduled time. My Mom's doctor scheduled patients fifteen minutes apart and spent 20 minutes with each. His waiting room was always full.

I can't stand the feel of wearing shoes with no socks. The only time I do it is when I grab some shoes to wear when I get the mail. Backwards caps belong on the catcher and anyone who doesn't want a sunburned neck. It's also OK when your team is behind in the ninth inning.

Long ago one gay bar here had a dress code that women had to wear dresses and drag wasn't allowed. That didn't last long.
