One of Lucy's assistants wrote about unwelcome phone calls from Hepburn to Lucille. At first, Lucy believed it was someone pretending to be Ms. Hepburn. They had not been friends in Hollywood. After the second calls, Lucy said "why is she calling me.?"

Yes. Apparently, Lucy was nothing like her television persona. Lucy and Richard did not get along when Burton and Taylor were guest on her show. Lucy disliked Katharine Hepburn. Lucy was not a super star until television at age 40.

I only saw one S.T.A. G. E. concert. A tribute to Kander and Ebb in 2003. It was held at a college near Pasadena. Many singers performed, but Liza Minnelli sang many songs, not just one. I believe Carol Channing sang also. Too much of a good thing, but Liza made it worthwhile. -
When Judy Garland sang "That's Entertainment" in person in the early 1960s, she also danced on stage while the orchestra played. Source: Boston Garden October 1961.
