  1. Wonderful. I greatly enjoyed the recent Hamilton biography, which included Laurens. Thank you for the video. He was left out of the musical, so the video is valuable (at least to me).
  2. You must not live close to New York City. Several of the actors have done nude scene on Broadway or off- Broadway. Best by far: David Burtka in Albee's "The Play About The Baby." Thanks, Avalon.
  3. Georgetown may be better if it is only four or so coursse that make a difference later in life, especially history and/ or literture courses
  4. Yes, but the Kennedy Center is breaking from the stated purpose of the Honors. From Richard Rodgers to Lunt and Fontane to Mary Martin to Chita Rivera, significant Broadway people have been chosen for a lifetime of work. The same standards applied to everyone associated with the arts.
  5. Financial considerations are important, but so is the superior education at Georgetown (for four yesrs). Whatever he decides to pursue after college, even if is just a first job, Georgetown is the best option by far.
  6. According to a relatively new Martin biography, "Some Enchanted Evenings," Mary moved from Palm Springs to a condo at 82 Princeton in Rancho Mirage. I did not remember she also lived in Palm Springs.
  7. I did not finish my Larry Hagman post above. They spent many summers at his mother's home in Rancho Mirage. His mom (Mary Martin) often spent summer in London.
  8. l guess nobody told Larry Hagman. Before he was cast in "Dallas," he rented out his Malibu beach home and spent summers (with his family) in various places includimg Typical Kenny response!
  9. Very interesting. Thanks!
  10. Greatly enjoying the photos, but surprised how seldom I click on the links. For what's worth.....
  11. The Kennedy Center Honors for 2018 were announed yesterday for 2018. Honors in November or Dec. to Cher, Wayne Shorter, Philip Glass, Reba and "Hamilton." Until now the awards have been for live achievement, not a musical still playing, or once playing, in New York.
  12. Political, but did much more: Benjamin Franklin
  13. Many, many years ago, The Dick Cavett Show. Somehow we scored seats almost on stage. During the first commercial, Cavett told the guest that Bette Davis would be on the next show. (thanks for telling us, Mr. Cavett.)
  14. Should be seven or eight week attachment (as freshmen).
  15. Yes, many. All network talk show. I liked former Vice President Nelson Rochefeller, Jeff Bridges, Gloria Swanson, Andrew Garfield and Armie Hammer
  16. I can not count a seven or eight attachment with another freshman in college a relationship. We were not enemies yet seldom talked after the first half of the second year.
  17. VERY nice.
  18. People like you because of your loyalty and a very nice person.
  19. Far more like Streisand in concert than Garland. Garland kept it simple beccause she was usually broke.
  20. A question Ethel Merman should have been asked. (I did see Ethel on stage in a musical called "Gypsy" in 1960 and again in 1961.)
  21. About 35 over two or three years
  22. I have always driven there from Pennsylvania or suburban Boston. Very different experience. I grew up in Massachustts, but still have not seen all the Cape. So I spent about 36 hours away from Ptown.
  23. Not a fair, but I lived near a summer theater that could afford stars like Ella Fitzgerald, Anthony Perkins, Ethel Merman.
  24. It is well known Donald Trump is a terrible dancer. At the galas on January 20, 2017, his kids and their spouses joined Donald and Melania on the dance floor quickly to take attention away. I am a terrible dancer too.
  25. Alexander Hamilton Charles de Gaulle Lucille Ball
