Yes, it is because people can walk right up to the tomb and lay flowers. Until yesterday only presidents could participate to that degree.. a significant change..if only for two days...but stay tuned. -

This morning The Washington Post is streaming the people laying flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. A sign of remembered grief.

I only received that service in a Luxurious hotel in Ipanema in Rio, and once in Berlin across from the the government buildings. The later was something rent boys wanted to see! -

People are encouraged to bring flowers. For now, Arlington National Cemetery Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is only open to the public for two day, tomorrow and Wednesday. Just before Veterans Day I am guessing it will be covered by C,-Span starting early tomorrow morning. Harding was president 100 years ago when the tomb was established
