I find the first comment disheartening. Not because you would feel affected for that hatred, but because it is disheartening to see a human being turned into that by his addiction. The second one, it sounds to me like a friendly, thankful and joyful comment. He recognized his mistake. His preconceptions about what someone with your looks can do were wrong, and he celebrates his mistake and thanks you.

In my short experience, Brazilians are like Americans in this respect. They expect everyone else to learn their language. You will find of course very educated people, and many do speak English. But if you are talking about sauna boys, very few of them do. If you are planning a visit and your Portuguese is very limited, I recommend you David. However, using any translation app makes communication easy. The standard one that comes with iPhones works pretty well, but I prefer Google Translate. You can download the dictionaries of the languages you need, and you can use it without being online. To learn about traveling to Brazil, you are in the wrong place. I strongly recommend you to study the Latin American forums in gayguides. In order to access them, you have to be a member with a certain number of posts, but the wealth of knowledge is impressive.

I was there in November, and had a great time. Things are gotten worse since then, but the info in gayguides tells me that if they can survive this pandemic, they will be back up soon.

Onlyfans / Just4fans / Are any worth the price?
+ José Soplanucas replied to + Brad in NYC's topic in Spas & Masseurs
Oh! I did not notice that. I am trying to catch up and may easily misread a thread's content. Perhaps the OP wants to edit the thread's name, to make it easier to identify by massage lovers? I am just trying to give helpful suggestions. -
I made an attempt to catch up after all these months away, but I gave up. I just skipped to the last page and it is still too much. So let me drop my 2cs for what I think it is being mostly discussed, and I apologize if I sound out of place, as I probably will be. I do not think that making generalizations about who the guys in SA are, or about what they want, or about how educated in the trade they are, is a productive approach. In my experience, the diversity of the offer in SA is out of the charts. Do not waste your time trying to figure it out a stereotype that does not exist. Instead, focus on who you are, what you want, and what you are willing to trade for it. Notice that I did not say pay but trade for it. It is possible to offer things like lessons, school work, an extra room at your place, or whatever you have that may be appealing for these young guys. Navigating SA takes a lot of time, much more than just going to a rent boys website to pick one from the menu. To cut the waist of time, I learned to make clear in my opening what I was willing to give. Far from bragging and faking a wealth I do not possess, I was transparent. I would make clear that my extra cash was very limited. This simple strategy, once I learned it, was a key for my success. Once I was left with the smaller universe of the guys I was able to afford, I was ready to find out what they were looking for. Let me insist: the offer is very diverse in all senses. I am too lazy to go back to my blog and look for the reports, but about three years ago I spent a full month exploring intensively the site, and shared all my failures and successes. I do remember that the beginning was frustrating but it paid off in the long term.

Why to open anther thread when we had this one? I think keeping this information in one thread would be wise. I am sharing some recommendations there. -
Hello everyone, I decided to put my political differences with @Guy Fawkes in a hiatus, considering the circumstances. I have missed many of you, and I am very sorry for the sad turn that Daddy's live has suffered. Whatever our differences are, they are secondary right now. Since a friend texted me about Daddy's accident, I have been luring the site to check @Cooper 's updates. I join you all on hoping for a recovering.

77 Black-Owned Businesses to Support Right Now -
I will try to remember to collect here resources for those looking for ways to support communities of color. Although I wrote "Black" in the headline, because I think that right now all those fighting White Privilege and Supremacy feel Black, the idea would be to support business owned by People of Color. Please, join with any resources you can add. Black-owned restaurants are seeing a surge of interest and support. Advocates say it’s a start.

Escorts exposed for being Anti-black Racists
+ José Soplanucas replied to curiousbynature12's topic in The Deli
The only one being sensitive here is you. I am appealing to reason. If you think your irrational and childish reactions and responses move one hair fro my bald head, you are drunk. Other members also call you, with empathy, to reconsider your proposal, and you chose to respond with bitching. Usually I would troll you out of your mind. But because I empathize with your motivations and think that perhaps you are just as fired up as I was a couple of days ago, I give you a pass. After appealing at your good senses several times, I am reporting this thread. It should be moved to the Political forums or closed, in my humble opinion. But it is @Guy Fawkes ' team decision. -
Escorts exposed for being Anti-black Racists
+ José Soplanucas replied to curiousbynature12's topic in The Deli
When do not allow opening threads with unvetted reviews of providers. There is a good reason for that. We are talking about people who make their lives from sex and/or adult entertainment, and we must be extremely cautious. Not only we are talking about their profession, but we are also talking about highly stigmatized and often marginalized jobs. Still, @curiousbynature12 you want to open a thread for people to freely drop the Racist label. I understand we are all triggered and fired up. Hell, I am. But your idea is just WRONG. Think about it. Who decides who is Racist and who is not. Social Media? I beg you to reconsider your suggestion and to ask the admins to close this thread or to move it to the Politics forum. -
I had gained 6 pounds during the lockdown. Starting last week and until yesterday morning, dieting, I was able to cut 3 pounds. Yesterday I attended the DC BLM protests, walked for 4/5 hours under the sun, and lost the other 3 pounds! So this is not Politics, it is pure fitness: join right now your local BLM protests.

Now you really confused me. How can you not be discussing politics when you are accusing a provider of being racist? -

I did not want to use the expression before, because Trump has appropriated it However, its existence precedes Trumpism for centuries. We are in risk of starting a witch hunt. I already made this distinction above, let's try a different approach. Again, one thing is when we are living our lives and we have a clash with a Racist or a potential Racist. Of course we have to do something about it, and making it public may be the right decision depending on the circumstances. (REMEMBER: EVERYTHING ALWAYS DEPENDS ON THE CIRCUMSTANCES. WITHOUT CONTEXT THERE IS NO MEANING AND WITH NO MEANING THERE IS NO POSSIBLE JUDGEMENT). Another quite different thing is to go looking for Racists, digging out everything someone said and/or did sometimes many decades ago. We are reading it out of context, out of malice or out of blatant stupidity. We are ignoring our (everyone's) ability to learn and change and get better. We have Internet! We just have to google people and shit may pile on. This is substantially different. I think the hunting is just wrong, and would be terrible for our smaller communities and for our broader society. If you want a preview of what could happen, take a look at Porn Twitter. Right now, porn performers are accusing each other, digging trash from many years ago now. Definitely, PLEASE we should not do this. -

Good, but that does not change my stand against a thread to collect allegedly Racists. -

The more I think about this, the more I dislike it. One thing is addressing specific cases. Let's say you are researching an escort you are interested on hiring, and his current ad, social media, and testimonies from clients tell you that he is or may be a Racist. I think this would be legit to discuss, as we always discuss potential deals. A very different thing is opening a space to collect sex workers, masseurs, and adult entertainers who "have made racist comments", as @curiousbynature12 proposes. I firmly oppose such an idea. In the culture we are nowadays, where people is digging in personal backgrounds to bring up shit done or said decades ago, this IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. In the moment we are right now, where comments are taken out of context, this IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. I think my previous post was not clear enough. -

I do not like this idea. A comment could be taken out of context, a Racist background could be fabricated by a personal enemy or competitor, and finally some people may have learning experiences, change their mind, regret their previous thoughts, and still be labeled as Racist when they are not one anymore. I applaud your enthusiasm and initiative, though. -
Guess where I am going to be ordering food from now on? If you are in the DC area, here you have a list os Black owned restaurants opened during the pandemic crisis. Out of the list, I have been a few times at Po Boy Jim, and loved their sandwiches.

The Teatro Colon is truly amazing. Besides everything that is well known for, it hides many wonderful pearls. Once I worked for a production and gained access to the underground warehouses where old scenography is saved. Castles, ships, dragons, it is like walking into a magic dimension. I do not think regular tours get you there, but at least you can peruse the shops where new props and costumes are designed and created. After we have a vaccine.

Why shoot a selfie while looking at your phone screen?
+ José Soplanucas replied to Daverwr's topic in The Lounge
He likes himself so much in the screen that he cannot avoid it! I can relate to that! -
Oh, it is a double standard. However, I think this double standard is present in every single industry. There is no Yelp for customers and clients. I think.
