I wonder whether we all are choosing a band/artist from our 20s. I am.

As I said, it is just my opinion. Yes, the board is full of conversations where respected professionals are discussed with no consideration for their privacy. I am advising on a practice that I think would make our environment more supportive and friendly for the professionals. By the way, I am pretty sure I myself had been indiscreet and disrespectful more often than I would like. That is not a reason to work on improving the quality of my participation here.

I guess it is not a big deal, some times it is easy to involuntarily leak private details in the flow of our sharing. However, and of course this is just my opinion, I think it is a good practice to share generalities in public and details in private.

I will have to research that, never heard of them.

May I suggest moving this conversation to PM? I feel a little uncomfortable sharing this private details in public. Maybe it is just me.

I am sitting in the Hyatt's lobby at Cincinnati and they are playing The Cure! That group was my band, I never identified so strongly with any other group or artist. So the question in this thread is... If you were to choose ONE, and ONLY ONE group or artist that identifies you, who that would be? I have many, Bowie, the Stones, REM, Atahualpa Yupanqui, Silvio Rodriguez, but The Cure stands out. I know. I was feeling like shit yesterday. Much better today, but I do not want to risk going out and stop the recovery. I want to feel good for my return to DC.

I got a flu, so I am crawling from the hotel to work and back to the hotel and have not been able to hit the streets and the clubs. But I think I had a preview of how promising the city could be. Some of the guys working in the hotel and in cleaning crews in the convention center are smoking hot.
