Tumblr’s new policy relating to adult content
+ José Soplanucas replied to Beancounter's topic in The Lounge
I had noticed the last couple of weeks an increase of other blogs from Wordpress following my blog. Then, I found this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-tumblr/ Perhaps Wordpress will be the next Tumblr-like platform? -
Perhaps this is not new, perhaps it has been tried, perhaps is just an undoable stupid idea. What about giving more power to the OPs? Of course these powers should never over ride admins might. For instance I should be able to lock my own thread, but I am not able to unlock it if an administrator closed it. What about giving the OPs the power to ban someone from he thread, or to apply warnings? This banning should never be preemptive, but the accountability for misconduct. Every decision, banning or warning, should have an objective reason and be the reaction to a specific conduct. Perhaps the warnings an OP can issue do not affect the overall score of a forum member. For instance, I can warn you that you need to stay on topic in my thread or you will be locked out of here. The next time you try to derail the thread, I can ban you out of it. But my warning does not give any accountability points, it only gives me the right to lock you out the next time you misbehave.

Do you know what would be great? (Boytoy has this) We should be able to paste the image/gif url address in the body of the message directly, and the software should recognize it and insert it in the post. Right now we have to make a click to open the insert pop up, then we have to make another click to paste the url, and finally a third click to insert the file. The other way is just one click. That would be great. Or perhaps I just do not know how to insert here an image making less than three clicks.
-
Yeah. if you place the cursor over the icon without clicking on it, the meaning pops up. The talking face is "Verbose". I would drop that one, all the clicks on it would go to @stevenkesslar . If Steven likes it, keep it. You deserve a treat, verbose man with beautiful blue eyes. The cross path arrows, for a reason I cannot elucidate, mean "ad hominem". I would keep it. We could use it pretty often (I have deserved it more than once) in the political debates. It is very useful to give quite specific feedback to a post you do not like because of that fallacy. I like it much better than "dislike", which is just a subjective and general statement. If someone dislikes one of my posts, I do not give a fuck. If someone tells me I am going "ad hominem", I have to stop and think. So I would drop the "dislike" icon. I think it is acceptable to give positive non specific feedback ("like") but it is not cool to drop a "dislike". Instead, we have the fore mentioned "ad hominem", plus "insulting". Perhaps we can find other similar icons to replace "dislike" and "angry". For instance "lying" (a little Trump icon would be perfect). I do need a LOL icon. I like the "clapping", but a good joke deserves more than that.

Happy birthday!

Do not be misleading. It is not all of them (us). But you are definitely correct. It is time to move on.

In my opinion, this is a very fuckable Gentleman, in case the ad is legit. If the face picture is his, he reminds me of HotRod.

I see what is going on. In my screen they are blue, not underline. When I move the cursor to click on the link, then it turns to underline. Cute.

Until January, the full 15 minutes of the video is available for free in JustFor.Fans.
-
More suggested emoticons: - LOL - Yummy (mouth watering) - Smoking hot
-
They do have a distinct color (at least to me), but they are not underlined in my screen.
-
I also like it a lot. Now, about the lack of contrasts you are pointing out to... Perhaps Guy already fixed it? I can see perfectly the difference between both colors, even when I am not very skillful for colors.

Bringing guests to my hotel room in Mexico City?
+ José Soplanucas replied to Ichabod's topic in The Americas
Good choice, biotch. The constellations favor us. http://jrscience.wcp.miamioh.edu/movies/stars.GIF -
I wonder how the warning system explained in the T&R works. @Guy Fawkes , we know the automatic email to inform me I was banned worked. But how would a warning work? Would I get an email telling me how many penalty points I got?
-
Note for @Guy Fawkes , we need a sad one.

Passing of OUR good friend (Please Comment).
+ José Soplanucas replied to + tristanbaldwin's topic in The Lounge
I am so sorry. I had the pleasure of meeting him in Palm Springs last April. Hell, he was committed to enjoy life, every second of it. Thank you for sharing, @tristanbaldwin -
Thank you for the "like" (in this new version it is called "rating" instead of "liking", did you notice @Guy Fawkes ?) @E.T.Bass ! You are going to like this even more. I posted that image to report myself and test the new reporting system. It worked, I got an email letting me know the issue was resolved). I have been also already banned until January 3rd, and received the proper communications.

@lovetohire Hey! As I see you are a Novice I just want to make sure you are aware this is just a testing version of the forums, they are not fully back. You may not have any responses to your 411. Good luck!

Just trying how inserting images works.
-
B) I know that. But if the Reviews site is going to expand its scope beyond escorting, even when we all know they are two separate websites, it only makes sense that the forums website follows.
-
Hey! Glad to see the forums back. I asked you in my testing thread whether you were taking feedback. Then I saw in your opening message that you offer this forum for "comments". I guess that includes feedback. My comment is not about tech, but about the Terms and Rules. You asked us to read them again, so I did. I noticed that in the section on Our Goal, the forums scope is still restricted to the "escorts community". However, I remember that in one of your messages a few weeks ago (and in our conversations in Palm Springs) you spoke of a vision of a new reviews website including not only escorts but other interests related to older gay guys. Do you not think that this new vision should be communicated in the new Our Goal section of the Terms and Rules?
-
Are you looking for feedback, @Guy Fawkes , or you prefer to be left alone?
-
Hey @Guy Fawkes ! Just trying how this work. This is very good news!
