  1. Thought it was just fine. Doesn't go deep - a very basic, sad story with very little insight as to who the characters really are. Shame, if it had been less shallow I think it could have been an excellent film instead of just fine. I thought Gina McKee was the best thing in it.
  2. Definitely well crafted. Just wish someone had told Eichner to tone his character down a notch or two - he's super annoying - Woody Allen minus the wit and charm, which makes their story not that believable. But still, it's very watchable and fun. 10 to 15 minutes shorter and Eichner less annoying would have made it a perfect gem.
  3. I thought angels were non binary 👹
  4. Thought it was relatively enjoyable trash tv. Some good moments. Felt like a guilty pleasure. I did enjoy the love letter to NYC. Definitely a gay sex and the city. But at least, unlike the sex and the city reboot, this show didn't feel compelled to stuff each episode with every single woke crusade du jour. It just is what it is - a nice piece of fluff.
  5. For those of you not afraid of subtitles, A Perfect Mother, on Netflix is an excellent mini series (4 episodes I believe). Franco German co-production, so compelling I watched it one sitting.
  6. is he the same as https://rentmasseur.com/GaboHANDS ? I know the phone number is different but looks like the same guy?
  7. Sorry, wish I could share everyone's enthusiasm. I very much enjoyed the production and I thought the cast was good. Wasn't sure about Katrina Lenk at first (liked her so much in Band's visit) but she gained on me. My big issue with the show is that its theme feels so dated, that in my opinion all the attempts at making it contemporary made it worse. I think our value system has changed so much in the last 20 some years that to watch a show built on - should I or shouldn't I be in a couple - at age 35 should have been left in the 70's when that kind of angst made perfect sense. Just an opinion.
  8. Just finished watching it. I almost gave up at the beginning which is super slow, but I agree both Sisssy Spacek and JK are very compelling and by the end of episode 1, the series truly takes off and I loved it. It is such a rich premise that I can only hope they're able to sustain its integrity in the following seasons, if it gets renewed.
  9. Was able to watch 1 episode a few years back, out of curiosity. I remember thinking that that's what they must mean when people refer to the "decadent West". I'm not sure who is more morally bankrupt - the Kardashians for exposing their trash like that or the people who watch the show? No judgement, of course 😱
  10. woof. wish he'd make it as far as NYC 😜
  11. Thank you for that. LOVED that series. Didn't realize there was a new one.
  12. Definitely felt Chris' butt was the best thing about the movie. Film almost felt like a play with endless intimate scenes filled with dialogue. Felt it was just okay. For that kind of intensity I would have preferred stronger actors to make it more compelling. Didn't really care about any of the characters except, again, for Chris' butt 😜.
  13. I suppose the idea of the remake was to introduce the young generation to this great classic. But at the end of the day, in my opinion, although there were a few decent, innovative moments here and there, I found the new version brought nothing new to the table. The 1961 version was revolutionary at the time, that's what gave it its power - no musical had ever dared to go as far as it went. It's probably impossible today to remake this film and make it half as exciting as the original. We're just too jaded as a culture to be truly moved by the story, the music, the dance, etc. They should have left it alone. Just an opinion.
  14. Erotic is greyed out. And his private pix. reveal nothing. Alas, I'd be way too frustrated to just get therapeutic from a stud like that.
  15. I think it's time he changed his name to kewlman, hardly looks like a boy.
  16. with a name like Merino I expected at least a hairy chest.
  17. Don't think so. Kidman is cold as ice in it and never changes/evolves throughout. Whole thing felt very one note. Well done but one note.
  18. Accents were only a problem because audiences today are more realistically inclined so you either shoot the movie in Italian (all the characters are Italian so clearly they would speak Italian to each other, or you shoot in English with no accent). My main issue with the movie is that it's just bad and super boring: the 2 main characters are pretty despicable with no true motivation for most of their actions. I thought Gaga was actually good as was Adam Driver, considering. No idea what Paolo Gucci was like in real life but I can't imagine he was as grotesque and dumb as Jared Leto made him out to be. Thought Pacino was just phoning it in. Just a pointless film with nothing interesting to say and not even entertaining. Other than that it was great 😜
  19. Maybe he's not a doctor?
