  1. Even with the “generally speaking” disclaimer, this comment didn’t sit well with me. I expect providers to have some limitations to the services they provide and even be comfortable refusing a repeat appointment for any reason they choose. They also need to be comfortable conducting business under terms they choose. If that means condom usage is a must for them, then so it is.
  2. Hilty is currently co-starring on Broadway in Death Becomes Her. She was excellent when I saw the show last month. I found it amusing that Smash is playing at a theater on the same block as Hilty's show.
  3. Now that I see this message, it feels like spring is just around the corner! Looking forward to renewing acquaintances in a couple of weeks.
  4. When I want a massage in Indy, I'm seeing Christopher. BodyWorkIndy - Male Massage & Bodywork in Indianapolis, IN | RentMasseur He's on the north side of town.
  5. Always assume that provider has set his price to cover his expenses and a profit. Tip as you feel appropriate for the quality of services provided. If you typically would tip x% at someone's apt., tip x% at the semi private studio.
  6. If the OP is asking for experiences with Provider XXX, responses that only highlight content within an ad, such as "his ad reads like English is not his primary language" or "is he wearing braces in photo #4?" are not helpful to answering the request. The OP did not ask for opinions on the provider's advertisement.
  7. Unfortunately, I need to be out of town that weekend. In past years, I have enjoyed being around the convention center and nearby restaurants just to watch the comings and goings of attendees. It is really quite the sight.
  8. Oh yeah, how did I omit that?
  9. I was in the audience last evening for Death Becomes Her. It was a really enjoyable show. Megan Hilty is cast brilliantly for the role of Madeline Ashton. Unfortunately, Jennifer Simard was out; however, her understudy was good and not once would you have thought that it was not the regular lead performing. Chris Sieber is good in the role of Ernest, and Michelle Williams gave a strong vocal performance. For those of us that appreciate things other than the leads, the choreography was excellent, the costumes were good (especially considering how many quick changes there were in the early part of the show) and the ensemble's costumes were sexy, they used real sets rather than projection, and the lighting was effective. And how they created the injuries on stage had me stumped. I am hoping I can return to the city to see it again. I would like to see it get many nominations come awards season.
  10. I always check out in person at somewhere I want to stay again a year later. (College homecoming weekend, Palm Springs trip, etc.) Many of those places will let me book the same room one year out, so it is helpful to do that in person.
  11. I think I received a notice that they will be combining sensual and erotic into one category. They learned that the difference between the two options was inconsistently defined.
  12. If I were looking to set something up in NYC, I would contact our own @Kevin Slater. He's been working from New York long enough that if he isn't interested in arranging your desired event, he may know of individuals who would be able to arrange such an event.
  13. While it would be nice for someone to respond politely, do you really expect someone to spend the time on Grindr to politely decline all the messages some of these guys get? And then that response might lead to another reply to clog the in box. Quite frankly, not sending a typed rely is still a reply.
  14. It is a bit ironic that I am reading this post while the Orange Bowl is on in the background. I seem to remember Ms Bryant as being tied to the Orange Bowl (or the Orange Parade) before her thoughts on homosexuality were know.
  15. Regardless of the decision to do bareback, get a prescription for Doxy to take after your appointment. My MD reminds me to take it even when I do not engage in any anal activity as preventative against those diseases transmitted orally. (I've never sucked a cock with a condom on it.)
  16. Kelly Clarkson would indeed be interesting. I'd also love to see Jennifer Simard in the role. As an outside pick, Anna Kendrick could be interesting - Anna as Annie.😉
  17. Although I've not engaged as a sugar daddy; however, I see the attraction of such an arrangement of being a sugar daddy. There are likely some characteristics that mirror my practices for this hobby; I tend to find myself returning to select providers multiple times. I find comfort having familiarity with someone I am going to spend time with. I have an escort I have seen for over 10 years and three masseurs I have seen multiple times (one local, one in the city where my mother lives, and one who used to be local and now lives in a frequent vacation destination) on a consistent basis over the last three to ten years.
  18. Not realistic assumptions. No one is going to be good at a job if they are working 7 days a week. And those are long days - 4 hours with clients and likely an hour between clients to clean up - change sheets on the table, shower, bio break, hydrate. Add in time to schedule appointments and manage the finances (deposit cash, move Venmo payments to bank, pay taxes, etc.) and it is easily a 10-hour day. (Not unusual for the self-employed in any industry.) And in those four weeks of vacation are evenly spread throughout the year, that would mean someone working 12 consecutive weeks (104 consecutive days.) Work quality and meh reviews would add up and business would drop. As others have mentioned, add in appropriate business expenses to host incall appointments - licensing, sheets, massage lotion/cream, laundry, table, etc. and and the net revenue would decrease.
  19. Today I received my 150th massage; the 8th with today's masseur. Prior to COVID I was only getting occasional massages. Since 2020, I try to get a massage every four to six weeks.
  20. What about Vin Marco? VIN_MARCO - Male Escort, Gay massage - Beverly Hills | Rent.Men
  21. This play was performed in my high school during my sophomore year. Back then, I couldn't understand the play's status as a classic. I suspect this is a case of something that simply doesn't endure the change of time.
  22. Esteemed forum member @Oliver generously invites members of Company of Men to the series of events he coordinates/hosts that weekend. Although most attendees participate here, there are some attendees who do not. This is a private event, not one “sponsored” by Company of Men.
  23. It might be just me, but this change might be a few days too early.
  24. My only encounters with Vin have been poolside chats in Palm Springs over the last three years. I can say in those conversations, he displayed a strong memory. For example he remembered pieces of a conversation from our first five-minute conversation in April of 2021 that he had no reason to recall, such as telling him that although I have always lived in the Midwest, my folks met at a university near Palm Springs and had visited regularly to see family. That type of recall and kindness is not AI generated. I don’t know enough about ChatGPT to understand how it works or whether Vin is using it for his posts. What I can say is, “color me doubtful” that AI was used. Based solely on my conversations with him, I have no reason to suspect they are not typed by him as the thoughts come to mind. They read like I would expect a transcript of my conversations with him would read.
  25. With your background in education, have you considered entering the corporate world in a Learning and Development role? Many corporations have a need for those with backgrounds in education to assist with internal training and course design. These positions often do not need to have expertise in the industry to be strong contributors. I just worked a project in banking where the online training for our subject area was completely redesigned as part of a project to implement changes to comply with new regulatory requirements. The staff member on our L&D team designed the course and our team's subject matter experts provided input to ensure the accuracy of the content. Trainee's feedback was that the training was much better than the former training entirely designed by the subject matter experts.
