That’s funny… one of massage spots that I mentioned getting run off my block was “Evening Dew Spa”. They had masseurs and masseuses. Wonder if it’s the same owner?

No pretending needed! People are sanctimonious assholes. Up until a few months ago, I had lived on a snotty East Village block for 18 years. A massage spot opened in the building next to me, another 5 doors down. There was no noticeable nefarious activities, the fronts were in no way an eye sore and both closed by 10pm. Some of my neighbors had a mission to get these business off the block and openly bragged about calling the police. They succeeded.

Holy Sweet Scents Batman… that’s a deal breaker if no fragrance-free option is available. Thanks for the heads, err noses up!

Are you really talking about MasseurFinder? Shirted men, and politically correct text don’t scream escort and the majority of the masseurs that I’ve seen from MF are anything but escorts. RentMasseur is much more escorty to me.

I don’t see that that’s implied at all. Actually I can see where @JUWS is coming from. Some years back (2016/17ish) Tony, Alan and Max were main stays at Greenhouse. All three had that feather touch sensual style, definitely not deep style massage. It often occurred to me that Tony may have trained them. Tony, who I understand is now at Prime in Long Island, was more receptive when asked to go deeper. None the less, I liked all three when I was in the mood for that style. It may also be that Max has evolved his style. Looking forward to finding out.

Curious as well. I’ve always had good technical massage experiences with masseurs that are also personal trainers. Wonder what is rates are.

There’s a private massage room on the second floor of W Men that Andy typically works from. It’s completely separate from the small partial-walled stalls.

Andy - W Men Spa- private lair if you book ahead, amazing all around session, foot massage will have you snoring on table, not slim/petite Chen - Yeah Man Spa - skinny guy trained, Uber Uber strong if you like, ask for what you want including foot massage and he will oblige happily, place is dumpiest of all spas I’ve been to Andy - Utopia - don’t know THIS Andy but gets good props. i would add August at 27 Men’s Spa - nicely toned slenderish Asian, superb massage skills, all around accommodating so just mention your feet desires.

All this said, there have been more than a few times when I wanted to hear “Shall we move to the bed?” Agree that bed massages, especially $200 ones, are pretty much a no go. But back when I used to travel a lot, very few masseurs traveled with tables. I appreciated the two occasions where the masseur did bring a headrest that was inserted between the two mattresses. Made a big difference.
