When I respond in kind, he moves closer, and now our calves are rubbing up against one another; he then moves to my side, and the exploration of each other’s bodies begins. Eventually our lips meet and we start kissing. He can speak some English, but my Polish is minimal; his name is Marcin; he tells me he has roommates but does not seem eager to return; he says he’d like to join me at my hotel. Do I want to do this? Should I do this? And what time do I meet the car to the airport tomorrow morning? Yet what did Tom Cruise say to the Princeton recruiter in “Risky Business”? “Sometimes you just gotta say, ‘What the fuck, make your move.’" OK, Marcin, let’s get out of the hot tub and get dressed; we walk to my hotel and when we arrive, uninhibited joyful sex follows. After a shower together, we sleep intertwined, but my alarm interrupts after a few hours; I awaken him, ask him to get dressed and then take him to the hotel lobby where we say goodbye. When my flight ascends over Warsaw, I relax, close my eyes and grin; thanks for your guidance, Tom Cruise.
