I don't want to minimize any provider's concerns but AFAIK border agents are looking to refuse entry for political reasons. They're specifically looking at social media to see if people have anti-regime or anti-client state (you know which one) content. US citizens can refuse to have their phones looked at (though you may be held), but non-citizens will be turned away if they do. But from what is being reported, they're not looking for escort behavior.

I've become friendly with a few providers, and the good ones care about giving their clients a good experience. They're not super interested in appearance. Instead, they want to be treated respectfully and have their clients be hygienic.
