Just to clear some things up @Wickedsexy the bar is willing to run a tab, even without your credit card being given at first. At least that has been my experience every time I’ve been there. They kept track and I paid before I left. Yes, I do slip them tips to sit by me or on my lap. That has been the only experience of tipping in BMine as I have never done a private there. But I tip off enough that the dancers really don’t seem to need to leave. As for tipping after the Stage show at 69.… I understand your point, but I figure giving them a bill after their show is good karma. I give them a quick tip and they move on. And I get to enjoy the Dancer of my choice while I’m sitting there whether I’m watching the show or not. I have not been to anthropology in years. And quite honestly, for a bar to keep me around they have to be a few really nicely built men. Otherwise, I just don’t tip a lot and then it’s not fun. I think that’s why I enjoy 69 the most. Both of the other bars are smaller and so have fewer dancers. My experience has been that I can always find a few guys that are worth my attention at 69.

I get it @Mark_fl My best friend cringes at the idea of strippers or even dancers in a bar. He doens’t like the PDA at all. Meanwhile, his partner is like me - play on!!! To each his own…There’s enough fun in the toy box for each of us. I don’t poopoo your preferences. I don’t poopoo my best friend’s preferences. All I ask is that we all make room for each other in our lovely gay world!!!

Took a quick trip down to PVR for a Saturday and Sunday night. Did NOT disappoint! Warning! Long post… I did a little more research before going down this time. Looked up some guys on RM and RentMasseur to see if any of them danced. I got some really nice replies and was able to get some of the pleasantries and logistics out of the way through our conversations before my arrival. Because of my “research,” I started out at BMine first. I knew that I had at least one sure fire muscle man who would satisfy my cravings at 69. So I decided to do my first play time at BMine. As others have already said, the shower thing is nice; the bar is small; there are shows. I don’t find that the guys are aggressive at all (unlike Wet, which is why I didn’t patronize that bar at all this visit). I knew there was at least one dancer that I was interested in that was going to be at BMine. So I was able to get n and scope quickly. There were a couple of others that would keep my interest if the one I contacted earlier was a bust. But to my delight, the one I contacted was big enough and knew how to play with me enough that he kept my interest. I also engaged one of the hosts (kind of like waiters) who had huge arms. So in the hour that is as there, I had plenty of play with those two men who kept my hands, mouth, and groin plenty busy. the dancer’s name is Alex and the host’s name is Osler. Both of them are worthy of worship!! Now, my downfall - and I completely own my weakness - is that at BMine I can throw down a credit card and then don’t care what I spend because it’s not cash leaving my pocket. I know the game - for every drink that I buy the dancer, he gets a cut. So it’s a particular way of tipping. And these two men, in the span of an hour, got plenty of tips. I don’t drink a lot so I only had two drinks. But, in the end, they kind of ruined their own game. Because with the amount of money I spent in an hour on their drinks, they each could’ve gotten a private dance with a hefty tip from me and the house would’ve gotten less money and they would have gotten significantly more. So after an hour, I closed my tab and said thanks. The two men wanted more and were begging me to stay and not go to 69 but I had spent what I had planned to spend and I was done! Now, my time at 69 was, as I expected, also full of men worthy of worship. On Saturday, I focused on two: Duber who I write significantly about in my post about my December trip and a new young man by the name of Sebastian (his bar name, not real). Duber was my ace. I knew he would be dancing and I have done multiple privates with him so I knew i would have plenty of muscle to worship. Duber is the biggest guy dancing in any of the bars that I have been to in PV. There are other guys with muscles like a bodybuilder like Duber’s but they are shorter. There are taller dancers, but not with muscles as big and defined as Duber’s. To say the least, Duber keeps my fantasies running all night! But my surprise on Saturday night (and for the rest of the weekend) was this young man Sebastian. Very nice muscles - full bellies but not a bodybuilder. He isn’t as tall as Duber but he was young and coquettish and just knew how to play with me. He ended up spending the rest of the evening dancing in front of me or on my lap and taking all my tips - unless I wasn’t double-handed with him and Duber. He was just the right amount of tease and give - constantly flexing since he knew I liked his muscles. He would periodically ask if he could go dance and leave me for a few minutes so I could worship Duber alone. But the beauty of the two of them is that in the 2.5 hours that I was there, I may have been left completely alone for maybe 6 or 7 minutes - one of them was always there to let me play with their muscles! Sunday was just a repeat at 69 with Sebastian and Duber. The only difference being Duber had other clients so he didn’t spend the whole night with me. He soent about the first hour and then Sebastian had me to himself. But after a while he invited this other young muscle buck - Leon - to join us. Leon was taller and also realized that his work was to flex and then I kept putting bills in his shorts or in his hands. Never even tempted to go to BMine (or Wet or Anthropology) since I had all the muscle play I wanted at 69. I know this wasn’t PV’s busy season so I doubt I could pull that kind of attention from two or three dancers. But it sure did make for a fun 48 hours of muscle in the bars and enjoy the attentions of some young muscle who are just tying to make a living! Because of them, PV is really my most-desired place to go play. FTL will always be fun but one can not compare the apples and oranges of PV and FTL when it comes to muscle worship in the bars! I WHOLLY support the sentiment of this post. OF and online action serves its purpose. Some of us need to get our rocks off without spending a night on the prowl or having the fun of the social engagement. I LOVE being in a club/bar and interacting with a hot bartender and playing with men who are vying for their payday. I like to see them love. Feel the flesh in my hand. And if it’s that type of bar, enjoy some private time with them! Online will NEVER replace that. What saddens me is that there are so many men (some of my friends included) who just take the private route of getting their rocks off at home so they no longer come out to play! We must encourage one another (which means not be mean in person! And help everyone - entertainers and patrons - to enjoy the live, in-person experience) and keep patronizing the arts! I would agree with many of the sentiments that have been expressed: - Remember that these guys are there to earn money. If they say yes to you in the bar, all that means is that they will go to your space - no guarantee of the quality of the interaction. Be discreet but also communicate clearly what you want and hope for. They’ll probably tell you how much it’s going to cost. - I’ve played the “massage” game plenty of times and sometimes I hit and sometimes I just get a suck massage. I’ve learned that I need to be honest with myself about how randy I want to get and whether I think this dancer is up for the play scenario that I envision. Again, money is key. There are very rare occasions (I luckily experienced one such occasion this weekend in Puerto Vallarta) where the dancer is genuinely also wanting to play and so it’s not about the money. It’s about the connection. So be honest with yourself and your expectations. - If you are in the least bit hesitant about your safety/security with a dancer, trust your gut. If you’re feeling sus, the dancer - if they’re good at their game - will sense that and your vibe will be ruined, regardless of whether you’re in the bar or in your own hotel room. That being said, I would say the majority of the dancers at Johnsons FTL are going to be up front about whether they’ll meet you outside of the bar or not. I’ve seen dancers tell one client one thing, and another client something different. Remember, they have to trust their gut too about their own safety/security with a client. I should have updated myself!! I was in Dallas for a quick visit on Saturday, October 25. It was Tin Room’s Halloween night and so the bar was full. I got there kinda early for me around 10:30. Immediately saw some nice muscle around so I knew it as going to be a good night! To spare the details of the hunt, I’ll just report that I had a great time in the back with Mauricio, Maximo, David, Benjamin, and Randy. Many of them for multiple-song spins in the back. I would say that there were others that I would have spent time with but with so little time, I chose to focus on the ones I liked the muscles and the looks of the most. Maximo and Mauricio were my favorites and if I were staying in town for the night, I would have tried to invite either one of them back for some more play… The good thing is knowing Dallas still has at least one club that satisfies my penchant for muscle go-go dancers! But ohhh how I miss the good old days of having multiple options in different parts of the city! Happy Worshipping!!!

So true! Those BigBoy days are gone! But there are still plenty of if boys out there. Just gotta find them. I will agree that many of them seem to be on the AltRight/MAGA side of the political spectrum. I find so many more affable European and Latino bodybuilders who are open to playing.

I hadn’t been to Chicago since being stranded there on 9/11. But it’s an incredible city and I’m glad I was able to get back last week for a nice visit. Went to the Lucky Horseshoe on Wednesday and Friday nights and had a good time. There were mostly twinks, a couple of fit guys, but no one I would call a bodybuilder (unfortunately - as that’s my type!). But I had a good time with the entertainers that were there. It was good to see that the boys still work to keep the patrons happy and LH drink prices beat the bar tabs I tend to amass in LA and the other cities I like to visit. Had most of my fun with an out of town dancer named Nikita, who I had met before in another city. He was quite lovely. He mentioned that there is a bodybuilder who dances named Justin. Can anyone share some info of who that might be in Chicago? I’ll still go back to visit but I was surprised that as large as Chicago is, that there weren’t any big boys dancing…

The KCL Show - Fuego in WeHO is basically gogos on the bars and platforms dancing. They’re hot! Some of the same hot guys and some others dance at Nuevo Jalisco in DTLA on Thursday nights. It’s the closest thing I can get to a lap dance in LA. It’s a hot show and I enjoy it every time I go!

I think I am of the mindset of a few guys here like Myophile that “bodybuilder” is a pretty wide spectrum, especially these days considering the number of “fitness influencers” who count themselves bodybuilders. From my knowledge I think there are a few bars I recognize: The bar where it is a Latin looking dancer on a runway stage interacting with patrons is in Colombia. There is at least one clip of a couple of dancers dancing at Stock Bar in Montreal. And most of the sex on stage videos are of performers at HustlaBall in Berlin. Hope that helps.

IMHO Johnson’s Tampa is not as good as. Campus Montreal. I had a fantastic time at Johnson’s but it’s a different east from Campus. They each had good muscle to play with so I’m happy either way!

Like: I could’ve used my card for the entertainers or doing privates at B-Mine. I did use my card for drinks and was generous buying drinks for dancers as well - which I think is good karma that goes a long way! Also, thanks for the info on Anthropogy. I have a particular body type desire for my entertainers (muscles…), so I’m wondering if the masseurs would be up to “standard?” Fully agree with most of what you have said with a few exceptions but could absolutely imagine that the logistics vary depend on the night’s crowd, whether the bars are busy, etc. Some examples: PV Club 69 - Never found the dancers being aggressive about getting tips after their stage shows. Yes they walked around but never did they stop and harass me for a tip but I often would have a tip prepared. Also, I noticed that if I was having some private conversation to getting a lap dance at my table, the just-off-the-stage dancer would never interrupt. So that might be the “protocol” there. TJ Premier - The bar does accept credit cards for drinks but you have to run a tab and there may be a minimum but I never worried about the minimum because I knew I was going to spend plenty on dancer drinks. One important thing to know: the protocol there is as long as you buy the dancer a drink, they have to spend time with you at your table. If you keep the drinks coming, they spend lots of time with you. I literally bought pitchers of drinks for dancers I wanted to spend time with and ended up keeping two of them at my table for most the the nights that I was there (like 5 or 6 hours!). Now, I was also tipping them so not only were they making money on their drink commissions but they were quite happy with the tips they got from me. The first time I did the drink & tips thing, one of the guys was just itching to get me in the backroom for a private. But I didn’t want to just spend my money on a quickie and be done. So in his case, I kept telling him to go get tips from other patrons that wanted to have a public lap dance. He was hesitant at first because it’s against the protocol, but when he realized he could be “double dipping” he seemed to be okay with it and just kept coming back to my table to finish his drink. thanks again @MrDakota for your review!
