I’m headed to NYC in January for a few days. I’m an infrequent visitor. Any recommendations for gay-friendly or gay-focused bar-restaurants where you can sit at the bar and have a decent meal and converse with a friend without a party in the background! Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a wild time at a bar too, but once in a while a more sedate meal, maybe watching a game on TV is more my mood. I thank everyone in advance for their time!

I agree 100%! I have stayed several times but now find it getting too crowded and a little worn.

But I love the lobby bar!

And does anyone have an opinion on the Baccarat hotel?
