Ben has a large base of repeat clients and his time slots book up pretty fast. He was nice enough to fit me in a month ago even though his normal time slots were all filled up. If all else fails, try booking him more than two months in advance if you know you’ll be in the DC/Baltimore area.

Looks like he removed the tipping aspect from his ad. He’s spent a lot of time in Europe and he’s very well versed in European customs - and likely knows how they feel about tipping. I’ve done both in the U.S. and it makes no difference to him. So no, don’t tip if you’re not comfortable with it and don’t let his previous requests for tips prevent you from seeing him. I’ve met Gene in person but not for a massage. I’ve spoken to him about massage in general but not about his massage. I can say he’s a very friendly man and I would be very surprised if he offered any extras. My impression is he only offers therapeutic massage.
