I can't say whether it's the case this winter, but last year (Dec. 2024) I met a dancer at Johnsons Ft. Lauderdale who said he was from Montreal. He told me he comes down for the winter & makes enough money that he didn't have to work once he returns home. I didn't really believe him at the time and still don't. But then, what would be the reason for a lie like that to someone he'd just met?

I was there last Sat. night & it was a pretty light crowd, which I expected two days after Christmas. Most of my favorite dancers were there, so I still had a good time. Going again this Sat. so I'll see how it goes. I'll keep at it as long as the club is there.

I was there Saturday & it was the same experience. Good crowd, everyone seemed to be having a good time. Most of my favorite dancers were there, so I enjoyed the evening.
