The guys do come around and chat, but I didn’t find it to be high pressure at all. Of course they’re being overly friendly with private dances as a goal, but I didn’t find anyone to be pushy.

I wouldn’t quite call it an actual show (like in strip clubs where they announce who is dancing, that person comes out and removes clothing, etc.) but it’s more than just an opportunity for lap dances. There were generally 1-3 guys dancing on boxes or the small stage, but not every guy there did that - some tended to be up there a lot while others not at all, and the dancing was similar to gogo dancers elsewhere (though several of the guys were naked).

Assuming you mean Buff Daddy’s at Red Eye, I went at the end of May and had a blast. I arrived around 5:30 and there were several dancers already, with more arriving soon after. We plan to go back on future NYC trips.

Thanks! Yes, I’d say mostly twinks/twunks with a few approaching into body builder territory, but fewer than I’ve seen in other places (Montreal, NYC, etc). I was happy with what I saw, though.

I come here with my head hung in shame as I realize I didn’t provide an update after our Sunday evening in TJ back in January. We had a great time and visited a few different spots, with Premier being the favorite by a long shot. Unfortunately I am not positive I remember all of their names, but here’s my best shot: El Ranchero Bar (this one I am the most insure of, but google images makes it look right): we popped in to check it out and start our night with a drink, since it looked busy. We went upstairs and sat at the bar while customers danced and had a good time. After a bit, the bartender told us strippers were about to come out. Unexpected, but great start to the evening. I think there were 4 of so guys that came out in the underwear and interacted with the audience, which appeared to be mostly locals. We tipped a few bucks and got a lot of attention, which included rubbing against us, showing their dicks, and letting our hands explore. Premier Men’s Club: no cover that Sunday night, so we went in and out a few times. It was always pretty empty of customers, but always had several guys dancing, probably 10-12 at the most at any given time. Tipping a dollar would get them to come give a lap dance with plenty of feeling and pulling down of underwear, especially if you keep tipping a few more bucks. I think at most we saw maybe 8 other customers present at any time, so we had as much attention as we wanted but none of the guys were too pushy - though at times it felt like they were just getting in line to take turns with us. Because the dances could be pretty short, I never felt the need to say no and just gave $2-3 for the ones I wasn’t too into. There was some propositioning, but more on that later in the form of a follow-up question. Hawaii: we popped in there when we saw a drag show going on, which was fun. The drag performers were alternating with strippers who did the more stereotypical shows (dressed as a baseball player, dancing and removing clothing etc.). The dancers worked around the room and gave some attention for tips but I don’t remember them showing as much, and when I touched one guy’s crotch he moved my hand away, so I respected those boundaries the rest of the time there. Bendito Cabron & Sodoma: Lumping these together because the experience was similar. BC opened later than they said and was absolutely dead - we paid a cheap cover but left quickly, as they told us the stripped (singular) would come later. I would give it another shot if it were busy, but it was a waste that night. Similarly we popped into Sodoma, paid a small cover, and left because nothing was happening. Overall we had a great night and just booked a trip back to TJ (by way of San Diego) for Labor Day weekend. The question I alluded to earlier, though, is about privates at Premier Men’s Club. A few dancers propositioned my husband and I with what seemed to be a lot more than a dance upstairs. I sort of froze and just said no thanks quickly out of shock, because I was assuming that was likely heading more into deli territory which was not what I was after. Does anyone know if a more standard private nude lap dance is something they normally do, and ballpark of what the cost might be?

Did anyone else go last night? We only stuck around from about 10-11, so I’m not sure if anything much changed after then. The layout of the bar isn’t super conducive to much of a great show, and it was jam packed. During the time we were there, the guys were basically just gogo dancers with a few in jock straps, but nothing beyond that. I’m guessing that didn’t change throughout the night? The drag show drew a big enough crowd downstairs that we couldn’t see anything when we peeked in, and we didn’t try to fight our way farther into the space.

Thanks for the info in here - I was curious if anyone has experience at Premier and/or Bendito Cabron on Sunday nights. I’ll be in SD for work soon and am planning to visit Tijuana on a Sunday-Monday as that’s the only time my schedule will really allow. I am hoping there will be a reasonable number of dancers etc. at both places but wanted to make sure I went in with the right expectations. I am also curious what time things start picking up at these places.

I greatly appreciate this info - I’m glad to hear that the tipping things I heard may have been outliers. I think it was just 2 specific comments, but even that took me by surprise since they weren’t geared towards me but were loud enough to take in. It’s also great to know that we may have overpaid for the dances - I’m sure we were seen as naive, which we were, so lesson learned and I’ll try negotiating a bit next time. I just returned last night from a weekend trip up to Montreal. This was my first trip of this kind, but it won’t be my last. My husband and I arrived on Friday morning and left Sunday night, visiting Campus and Stock on Friday and Campus and Diamant Rouge on Saturday. Stock: I think we went there around 11pm, taking a break from Campus. I could be off about the exact timing, but Stock had dancers on stage pretty often at that time though the club wasn’t too full. Dancers were mostly talking to women or each other. We only stayed for one drink and then left, didn’t do any private dances. I would be willing to try again, but since we had a lot more fun at Campus we went back there. Diamant Rouge: this was also only a short stop in, around 11pm. We saw an incredible pole dancer - by far the most impressive moves we saw anywhere, but left after one song. The bar was pretty quiet but everyone seemed friendly. This felt more like we walked into a neighborhood bar, which I could see feeling very nice if that’s your vibe. Campus: both nights we arrived around 9:15. On Friday, we had reserved a table which was fun to do but not necessarily something I’d do again. It required bottle service so we got some champagne (wanting to be sure we didn’t drink too much too fast). The server was nice and attentive. Our table was right at the little platform off the main stage, which meant we always had a great view and also quite a bit of dancer interaction. When we first arrived, there were breaks between performers but around 10 it seemed to switch to back to back (or close to it) with a ton of different guys. The guys were more attractive overall than anywhere else, and some put on really great shows. Each night we got 3 private dances together, for which they charge twice the price ($40/song). We basically expected that and stuck with that as our plan. On Friday, we started with Parker, then Tommy, and last Sammy. We did 2-3 songs with each of them, and they each had slightly different styles but were all good choices for us. Tommy was my favorite of the night both onstage and off - he’s charismatic, a great performer, and is in incredible shape. We didn’t ask for anything in particular for the dances, but all 3 progressed relatively quickly to full nudity and all of the dancers guided our hands all over. For those interested, Malik Delgaty danced on stage around 1am I think. On Saturday, there were way more women, and several bachelorette parties (3-4 I think?). The behavior overall wasn’t too bad though, and I still felt plenty comfortable there. The most egregious behavior was from another gay patron who kept getting on stage and embarrassing himself. That got old fast, but the dancers handled it as well as they could. Our first dance on Sat was with Tommy again, followed by Fernando, and lastly with either Eduardo or Drago - I thought he introduced himself to us as Eduardo but on stage the MC seemed to be saying Drago. He is a beefy Colombian who was wearing a white baseball hat both nights. Again, we did 2-3 songs with each, with Eduardo being my favorite of the night (though again, Tommy gave some serious competition). Other standout dancers that I would go back for included Diego, the other Latin lovers (sadly I missed their names but Eduardo and 2 others danced together and were announced as the Latin lovers - both darker complexion, very attractive and great dancers), Vinnie, and a few others whose name I either missed or can’t recall. Overall we had a great time, but I wanted to share a few downsides. I was surprised at the pushiness of some of the bar and door staff with regard to demanding tips. We are frequent tippers and were already doing that, but hearing other patrons get told off publicly about tipping was surprising even coming from the very tip-heavy US. Also, one dancer who I won’t call out publicly was only showing a dildo, not his actual dick. I was suspicious during his first number both because of the size and the positioning, and then when he only gave quick flashes of it, my confidence grew before becoming totally positive during the last onstage number he did on Saturday. I would rather see a smaller real penis or even a performer that just doesn’t show it all than to see a dildo paraded around like it’s real. Many of the dancers mentioned heading to Miami in the winter, which I am guessing (or maybe just hoping?) means Wilton Manors, so I think a trip there may be in order in the colder months. Hi folks, I’ve got another naive question. I’m thinking of an NYC trip (primarily for other reasons) and it had me looking into options. I’ve seen the schedules for Spunk and Adonis, so it seems that at least most Saturday nights have both of those as options. I was curious if anyone could share their thoughts on differences between the two. Ultimately I’d like to check them both out but it may not happen on the same trip, so I’m mostly debating where to start.

Does anyone have thoughts on whether VIP table reservation is worthwhile at Campus? I don’t know if that’s a sure fire way to be grouped with a bunch of bachelorette parties or if it’s beneficial to have a guaranteed table on a Friday or Saturday night. I am curious if it’s worth making a reservation at Stock too, though that seems less appealing overall I think.

Hi folks, I’m new here (and to the strip club scene in general) so hopefully this is allowed and isn’t seen as hijacking this thread - that’s totally not my intention, but happy to start a new thread if that would be more appropriate. I am headed to Montreal in Sept with my husband and we’re looking forward to visiting several clubs across the 2 nights we’re there. The info here and in other threads has been super helpful, but I had a few questions I couldn’t find addressed. If we want to club hop, if we’ve paid a cover at one place, leave, and then decide to return, is re-entry possible or would we pay the cover again? Also, for private dances, is it possible for both of us to go together at any (or all) of the standard establishments? I guess generally along with that, is there anything you wish you knew earlier when you started visiting these clubs?
