I guess with everything else I'll take the time to mention that no, I'm not the perfect body type that you'd think of when you see a dancer but I am proud of who I am and what I've accomplished.  I've held the titles World Cub 2023 and Mr. Mayhem Leather Bear 2022.  I have advocated for those with disabilities seen and unseen designing a pocket flag with the help of Wolfstryker Leather.  I setup Disability Accessible to allow event organizers to survey their attendees on accessibility needs.  I have held roundtable discussions on disabilities in the kink community virtually, at OKC Kink Weekend and at World Bear Weekend.  I have competed at Maryland Leather in 2019, I have competed at MAL in 2020 and I competed at IML in 2023 beyond the two titles I won at BBM and WBW.  I am now taking Disability Accessible to the next level setting up a 501 (c) 3 which will have funds available to event organizers to help with accessibility needs such as wheel chair ramps, interpreters and more.  The 501 (c) 3 will also provide education on how to make events accessible to those with disabilities.  I am also going to be producing the Mid Atlantic Bear, Cub and Pet competition to be held second weekend of September 2025; open to anyone from NJ, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, DC and Virginia.  In my community last year I was presented with the Leatherperson of the Year award and a service award from another local group.  That is just the beginning.

Update: As my previous post says, I was fortunate enough to be getting Grindr hookups, which prevented me from exploring bathhouses mostly. However, I was determined to explore the LGBTQ culture in Tokyo—specifically 24 Kaikan because everyone online has been saying it's the gay batthouse to check out. Disclaimer: I went there on a weeknight, which is not the busiest time of the week, so this post is limited to that experience. To say the least, the entire place didn't have too many people. Probably there were about 12 to 24 guys there during my stay.
So where do I start?—I guess, we start at the 2nd floor where the entrance is (1st floor is parking for the building). Interestingly enough, you'll have to use 2 lockers. The first locker (which will cost you 10 Yen coin) is for you to store your shoes since it's a culture in Japan (and most asian countries) to remove your shoes. After stowing the shoes away, you go to the front desk to pay and be given a bag with a robe and towels along with a key for your actual locker. It cost 3900 Yen for me because I went after 9PM (It's 3300 Yen if before 9PM).
First thing I explored was the 3rd floor, which I will call the wet section (eg, hot tubs, steam room, sauna, shower room, etc.). The 2 dry saunas there have really good heat compared to the US ones I've gone to (specifically Club San Diego since I went there not too long ago). There were about 3 hot tubs—which I did not dip myself into. There was also a steam room—I did not stay too long because it was really hard to see, plus with it being a weeknight, no one was pretty much there. There was also a some kind of dungeon room that had BDSM leather swing/seat that bottom could be on (I'm sure you've seen this type of apparatus in other sex clubs). No one was using it of course because there weren't many people. The only places on this floor that were being used were hot tubs, dry saunas, and the shower/rinsing area that had seats and a vanity mirror (weird, I know).
The 4th floor was the—for a lack of a better term—sleeping areas. Most guys here were wearing the blue robes that were given at check-in. This is something not comparable to the USA bathhouses because it's literally sleeping areas. There were 2 big rooms (common areas) that had about 4 bunk beds and one big low-profile japanese bed (which is basically huge futon that is on the floor) that could fit about a dozen people. These low-profile japanese beds is where the action is happening because it allowed for guys to be near each other. Some of the guys were feigning sleeping, which I think was cue to invite other guys to give them blowjobs or be touched (If I were compare this to the USA version, it's like going to the bathhouse and you see a guy with a mask, face down, ass up in the common area basically inviting other guys). There was also a 3rd big room that only had the big lowprofile beds only (ie, no bunk beds), and in it were japanese porn being played—yes, the genital were blurred/pixelated staying true to the classic Japanese porn.
The 5th and 6th floors were mainly for private rooms. And the 7th floor, which was the rooftop, was closed because it was raining outside that night.
As for the type of guys that were there that night, I'd say about 70% to 80% were Japanese, while the rest were foreigners like blacks, indians, and east Asians that were non-Japanese. And as always, bathhouses are accessible for any guys who could pay to get in, and this one was like that. One thing that I noticed that most guys looked younger than the ones in the USA bathhouses (heck, I didn't even see anyone with grey hair); however, since they're asians, it was hard to gauge their actual age. Only one guy I found attractive because he was fit, but unfortunately, he was also a top per his Grindr profile. I didn't partake to any of the festivities because I wasn't particularly horny (and the guy I found attractive was also a top), but like I said, my main goal was to check out 24 Kaikan which is like an emblem of the LGBTQ culture in Shinjuku—I guess part of me was trying to see the gay culture in Japan.

Here are the basics, for any client:
1. Pay your provider his rate. You’re not obligated to tip, but please don’t attempt to negotiate down. Most people on this forum get it. Not everyone does.
2. Show up on time. When you have something come up, tell him that you can’t make it and then make every effort to reschedule when possible. A heads up when you know you’re running late helps. Ghosting and no-showing are unacceptable behaviors. Occasionally, your time may be cut a bit short when we have something scheduled right afterwards and you’re late. We providers owe clients the same courtesies, by the way. It’s a two way street.
3. Respect your provider. Stick to whatever boundaries he sets, or move on if those boundaries don’t fit what you want. Treat your provider as a human being, in the same way you want to be treated.
4. Communicate what you want. We can’t read minds or be ready for any scenario at any time. For example, we can’t retroactively douche when it’s clear in the moment you want to top but you never said anything about topping before the meeting. If kissing is important to you, ask about it upfront. And so on…
5. Book the services you actually want and develop realistic expectations of cost for those services based on going rates in your market. Do not expect full service for the typical going rates for a massage, for example. Or book an escort and expect him to deliver a top quality professional massage.
6. Maintain good hygiene. Wash your body before an appointment, including your bits and your ass, even if you’re not bottoming. Brush your teeth, and if you can’t do so in the hours before, at least use a bit of mouthwash. Some providers keep mouthwash on hand, so feel free to ask.
My favorite clients:
A. Tip. This is rewarding and motivating for us. Money trumps a lot of other things on these lists. We overlook a host of other things for good tippers.
B. Frequently book. If not in the same city, they book me whenever they are in my city. I know it’s fun to try a new guy every month/week/day or whatever your budget allows for, but having regulars in your rotation gets you truly excellent experiences. Loyalty goes a long way. It motivates us to go the extra mile for you in terms of time and effort. I pick up loyal regulars from the airport or go to dinner with them without charging for my time, or arrange for threesomes with other providers for them, or give them my sexy underwear for their collection, or do extra stuff that takes time and effort and money to do that I don’t charge for. Never these for a new or infrequent client.
C. Respect me.
D. Maintain boundaries around the relationship. It’s ok to be friendly, be passionate, even have a serious crush. You can get quite personal, over time. But it stops there. I’m not your real boyfriend or husband. I’m there to make you feel amazing for a period of time, for a fee. Never forget that.
E. Show appreciation in non monetary ways. A simple, genuine “Thank You” and a hug go a long way.
F. Trust me.
G. Give as much notice as possible for setting, rescheduling, or canceling appointments.
H. Follow through.

Your questions are fine. Masseurs that don’t answer specific questions don’t really need/want the work. Best to move on when that happens. 
I concur with the points from others above. A good masseur will answer all your questions, even if he’s delayed in doing so. Never hurts for him to say “I can respond after x time”. Sometimes a text comes in and I have literally 2 mins or less until my next client is at my door and so I can’t actually respond right away, but text the client I will get back to them later, with an approximate time, and then follow up later. If I am already with a client, I respond as soon as the session is over. 
The only question you mentioned I might change is the open ended “Tell me about your massage”. I have stock answers saved on my phone to copy/paste, so it doesn’t really bother me. For other masseurs, this might be asking for a lot, for a number of reasons.
They don’t know what exactly you are asking. They may send you a long general description, but it might not cover things you want to know. Are you inquiring about their modalities? Stretching? Pressure? Tools they use? All of those are easier to answer individually, in the same way you ask about the bed vs table or oil/lotion questions.
When I get the vague “Tell me about your massage”, or worse, “What’s included with your massage?”, I am left to wonder: is this client asking me to tell him about extras? If I tell him about extras but he really was only wanting to know about things like pressure and style, it makes me seem like I don’t take my work seriously, like it’s just a rub and tug.
When I tell him only about style and pressure and whatnot, he’s frustrated because he may really only be interested in the extras info. It’s a catch 22. Also, not everyone offers extras, and those that do are sometimes uncomfortable putting it in writing. That’s why a lot of masseurs might avoid the question. Often I will ask the client to be more specific with their questions so my answers will be more direct and relevant to what they want to know.
You might consider asking more pointed questions or yes/no questions about things you care about, especially regarding anything erotic or sensual. Is x included? Do you allow y? Are you nude during the massage? What pressure do you use? Do you offer deep tissue?
It’s uncommon, but I like it when a client tells me exactly what they want. It makes it easy for me to say “yes, no problem, I offer all of what you described.”  And then I know what to do to make that client happy. Occasionally, I may have to say “I offer everything you want, but I charge differently for xyz. Here is my rate structure: … ___”
