  1. Sometimes, guys from other countries without a credit card to set up a RM account, will go the strip club route as a way of establishing himself with clientele.
  2. I found it hard to imagine escaping byelorusse/ russia with a piano, let alone a grand, but my classmate‘s grandmother was a russian piano teacher who taught in Paris. She’s no longer around, and her family eventually landed in Canada. So it‘s totally possible the Bosendorfer came with from Russia or France...oh, the stories the piano could tell.
  3. Wow.. some are certainly provocative. Not sure if I’d want to wear that type of sausage casing though- draws too much attention.
  4. My friend’s grandmother took hers out of the old country during the war. I can’t even imagine how that happened.
  5. I'm happy with my apartment sized upright too. I play occasionally but not with as much frequency as when I was younger and was very serious about it (went to Royal Conservatory). Used to take improvising and jazz lessons with a teacher at julliard when i moved to NYC in the mid 1990s. A cute escort I know, works at one of the famous showrooms in manhattan and is an excellent pianist. Fortunately, i went to medicine and did not pursue music full time.
  6. Actually, would love to get a Fazzioli
  7. My parents have a bosendorfer grand and a heintzmann upright. Growing up, we were an extremely musical family. We used to play Bach double piano concertos and Mozart sonatas for two pianos. My siblings, their spouses, and I are all proficient players. My sister-in-law is a concert pianist. The house is always full of music during the holidays. I think my mom considered the pianos as an investment in her children than the actual monetary investment.
  8. I believe NEXUS requires approval by both Canadian and American authorities... so not sure why he was selected. Perhaps it was pick on NEXUS card holder day.
  9. No... my friend is squeaky clean. He doesn’t even know how to use the Uber app. He told me other people (black and brown) were in the inspection rooms for a long time and saw several people being asked detailed questions regarding their mobile phones. Sometimes it can be a power trip designed to make one nervous...when my friend’s turn came up, they asked 2 questions about his visa status (he’s Canadian too) and he was on his way...but it took an eternity almost an hour just waiting for his turn. Plus, he has Nexus which is similar to GE and uses the same kiosks.
  10. I met up with him in nyc. He mentioned he has not danced before but is doing some porn (and will likely become quite famous)...lol.
  11. Most of the customs inspectors are quite hunky
  12. Another friend with GE got a verbal warning for failing to declare 2 bags of potato chips... for this reason, i don’t bother bringing anything back to eat. Although, other friends just declare food items them under the “souvenir” allowance.
  13. My friend has a GE as well and he got secondary screening. So, not sure completely if that is accurate.
  14. It’s nice to have all options. MP doesn’t really require any vetting. GE does and requires time to get it along with biometrics/ interview.
  15. I’ve had him. I didn’t think the massage was worth a repeat if you are looking for that.
  16. He requests text messaging but does not provide a number....
  17. I agree. It was a fun performance to watch!
  18. Ah, yes.. the web of deceit... remember the club well. Right next to Tao. Hot gogo boys.
  19. Brazilians seem to be very good lovers
  20. Me too... ! Looking forward to seeing it tonight. I’m more of a traditionalist, but very interested to see the modernization and adaptation of this piece.
  21. Me too.. i prefer to sleep in a different zip code after the act
  22. Thanks for the info Dutchal You are such a sleuth1

  24. I’d love to taste his strawberry...https://rentmen.eu/SRAWBERRY Anyone with experience with this delectable morsel?
  25. I have an earlier model Panasonic from about 13 years ago. It is pretty basic but does all the tricks. Although if i had a chance i would buy a newer model with the air bags and foot massage feature. I tried one recently by a brand called "Infinity" and it was really good. However, it has a very large form factor and not really appropriate with the minimalist aesthetics of my place. If you go to Fort Lee or Sunset Park, there are some asian massage chair retailers that let you try their chairs. From what I've seen the prices seem more reasonable than the 8-10 K chairs offered in the brand name stores. I haven't tried negotiating but i think you can get a good price at one of those places if you are adventurous and a good negotiator My korean friend swears by a heated "jade" stone shiatsu/accupressure bed. It is extremely painful, but you do feel like a new person after using it.
