Oh, I have to try that!!! Was at the polish restaurant Karczma… pretty good. Not sure if it’s worth the trip there alone as we have Veselka in the East Village that will satiate my perogi and kielbasa fix.

I loved Suckrates - reminded me of a friendly curmudgeon neighbor of mine.

I’ve lived here since 1996 and had never been to Greenpoint. Last week I played tourist and ventured for polish food in Greenpoint. Was fun navigating the G train and I felt like a silly tourist and messed up following google directions..lol. Sometimes, it’s nice to look through the daily mundane things with a different lens.

Welcome slvkguy… i see you on the other site as well I find this one more US focused while the other is more interesting for traveling outside the US.

Yikes… i don’t know if it is the same provider… but the one i was planning to engage was turned around recently and is banned from using ESTA. He mentioned his “friend” was banned for 5 years from entering. So, yeah… it’s happening. I did tell him to remove my text messages prior to boarding though. Now i have cash for his 2 overnights’ burning a hole in my pocket… time to visit Adonis

I too finished it yesterday! Easy 2 day binge. Agree, the guy who plays August has a beautiful lean twink body and sexy ass. I love his curly hair too. Bad character, but hot actor

Was just thinking about this exhibit. I missed the previews as I was out of town. Thanks for sharing!

Another sad loss for me was a cute restaurant in the east village- 9th street market. Charming little place with gorgeous floral arrangements and a fireplace. Only room for 20 guests.

I think it closed during the pandemic. Believe it is reopened under new management/chef owner. Was one of the first restaurants to introduce architectural dining (sculptures of food). Loved that place.

I love Wallse His other place, Cafe Sabarsky, is also nice.

The joy for me is to visit the restaurants that are opened up by ex chefs from Per Se or EMP, etc... There are several great ones: Noreetuh, Tuome. Really great quality ones at fraction of the costs. And, they try hard to impress. The starred restaurants are fine for celebration... but these lesser known ones are perfect for the value and they are usually located in more interesting neighborhoods.

My only concern with broaching about making up for the lost time, would be that he would take a mercenary approach and watch the clock on future encounters. I‘d write it off and text him to see if he is on the mend and feeling better. Hopefully, he’ll be able to resume seeing you again for future fun playdates.

My friend‘s husband is an ID consultant for the city and he says it will most likely be the split dose for the 2nd shot.

I was on a return trip from Las Vegas last weekend and sitting in the front cabin with me were a couple who were obviously showing off their money by wearing shorts, t shirts, hat, and shoes emblazoned with the designer‘s name on it. It was so distracting because these were not in shape people… they were large and coupled with the designer monograms… i needed to put on sunglasses to shield my eyes. Thank goodness I was able to distract myself with some episodes of Borgen on Netflix.

Usually before immigration takes place, doesn't the applicant need to show they are current with all vaccinations?

Sadly I am too exhausted from work and decided to do drinks with my colleagues instead;(

Sounds like he's prioritizing others who have more concrete plans. I didn't see that you offered any potential dates to him but just talking back and forth and paying a nominal 10$ for a video clip.
