The unnamed Helix model was the best of the bunch. I never actually met Valentino tho. He wanted $2000, but insisted on money upfront, so I sent $1000 (well 900) without actually meeting him. Dylan and Lawson were something else.

You've reported a couple bad experiences from guys on RM. Is there any reason you haven't reviewed any of them? It would be good for that community to know about your experiences. I don't think many people on RM would ever make it to this forum.

It seems like Lawson made his RM page in late 2023 and I met him around Feb/March 2022. I had found him on Seeking. If I had met him from RM, I definitely would have tried to leave a bad review if he didn't try to block me or somehow prevent me from doing so. I believe his username on Seeking was cybersmokeshow (yet another username he's had over the years). When I tried to report him on Seeking, I was the one who got banned/suspended.

I'm not really sure how SEO stuff works, but I'm hoping that potentially interested parties can find this thread if they search lawsonshorny on Google. I would love to warn as many people as I can about his behavior and for them to be extremely careful if they try to go ahead and meet him.

Hotel security isn't there for law enforcement.

They're there to make sure nothing "unsavory" happens that would scare away guests, and to keep order. They don't have police powers.

If people knew security had to tackle a fleeing, thieving sex worker, it wouldn't be good for their bottom line.

That was my eventual realization; that they didn't really have the authority to detain Lawson. We did start to cause quite a scene. When he let go of my bag after security came to my aid, he ran out toward the parking lot where they do valet parking and Uber drop offs and stuff, so there was a little crowd of people. As I tried to chase him, people asked what was going on and I just said that he stole my phone. I can definitely see how hotel security wouldn't really want to tell other guests the true nature of what went on.

I'm sorry but his friends actually tried to justify the theft? If someone doesn't want their picture taken, the first thought that pops up in my mind isn't to steal the other person's camera. If one of my friends ran a car off the road and then shot the driver in the head just because the driver cut him off on the freeway, I'm not going to come to my friend's defense.

I assume once you showed Lawson's friends proof that Lawson agreed to the pictures and that he stealthed you and gave you two STDs, did they admit what Lawson did was pretty scummy? Or did they still refuse to believe he did anything wrong?

I like your car example. I had the same thought when hotel security let Lawson go. If somebody stole a car and they got caught, I don't think it would be right to just let them go because they were caught and I got my car back. I know it wasn't exactly a car, but my camera equipment and the iPhones probably were equal in value to a cheap used car, hah =\ The hotel security really did an amazing job, but maybe without the police there, they just weren't able to detain him/keep him there.

I sent some of the people that messaged me a screenshot of Lawson topping me and a screenshot of my test results showing I was positive for the two STDs. They didn't really have anything to say about that. Instead, some of them said I was the one who should get arrested for going around and sharing my story on Grindr and that Lawson was hiring a lawyer to go after me if I kept trying to spread the word about him. They really did seem to defend him to the end and believed that he was in the right for trying to steal my camera and phones. There was no winning with them. I don't remember the exact argument, but one of them said something about Lawson wanting to be an actor and he would hate to have the content out there, so that's why he felt the need to steal. I mean they clearly admitted that he stole, but they really seemed to think it was for a good reason. I had no intention of every publicly posting the content (especially not the one with the non-consensual removal of the condom). I mainly just like to record stuff to watch it back later. But yeah, if he was not comfortable with it, I really have no idea why he agreed to meet me.

It looks like he's pretty into OF these days, so maybe his attitude has changed about that, but I never got over how traumatic everything was. When there was a struggle over my messenger bag outside the elevators, he actually told hotel security that I was "psycho" and I was trying to steal his stuff.

Was close to meeting him when he was in nyc several mos. ago.  He was squirrely.  Thought then and now that he’s a hottie so I was gonna still meet him.  But schedules didn’t match

    guess I dodged one

I was really fond of his look as well. He was quite late to our meet. I saw the studio porn guy from 11:30am to about 1pm. I told Lawson to get there by 2pm. He didn't arrive at the hotel until 4pm. I wanted to get going by about 5pm. I didn't like the time crunch I was going to be in and did consider going home. I just couldn't pass up the chance to get topped by a hot twink though. He was exactly my type. Although, I did share some of the pictures I took of Lawson with the guy who got scammed out of feet pics (I had some pictures of Lawson's feet) and even he agreed that there was something off with Lawson's look. He said it didn't even really look like the same guy when it came to his face =\

I also wondered if I was just an easy target. I'm a big quiet/shy guy. When I heard him running down the emergency exit stairs, I tried so hard to chase him, but I was afraid I was just going to fall/tumble over and seriously injure myself. I check Twitter/X every now and then and saw that there's apparently gossip about him being a thief, but that people don't care because they find him hot. Like maybe a week or two after our meet, I believe Lawson met up with Sean Ford. The studio porn guy I saw was also commenting on Lawson's Twitter posts and tried to arrange an OF collab (dunno if they ever met up). I tried to warn the studio guy about what happened to me and even showed him pictures I took of Lawson (to show the same hotel background) as proof that I met Lawson. He said he had second thoughts, but I still saw him commenting on his posts after that, haha =\

I can pretty much only attribute the rectal chlamydia to Lawson. Until the time he took off the condom, I had never tried unprotected sex. I've always asked for condoms. I suppose I could have gotten the gonorrhea from the studio porn guy, but the chlamydia had to be Lawson. I went to get tested after I saw he did. I thought it was just my luck. My first time trying unprotected sex (unwittingly) and I got an STD.

why did you tell him about your dinner plans?......did you originally plan to have the take-out with him in the suite after the meet?

did all this happen two years ago and just now, because you saw his new RM ad, you're telling us as a warning? (just 'seeking' (no pun intended!) clarification)

and TIL what 'stealthing' means in this context.......

I was just making small talk with him. I told him that after our meet, I planned to get some steak. No clue why I said where, but he seemed friendly.

Yeah, exactly. This happened around March 2022 and I just happened to see his ad on RM and it brought back the memories of our meet. Oddly enough, after I tried to report Lawson on Seeking, I was the one who got suspended from the site. They said compensation for sex is strictly prohibited. I have no idea if he still has an account on there.

  8. 1 hour ago, Luv2play said:

Reading your account, I don't think you or others should fault RM since that's not how you hooked up with him. And he did provide sexual services, so you are not entitled to the $1000 back that you paid him. You also got to keep the videos of your encounter, so he lived up to that part of the bargain too.

It's too bad things went off the rails so to speak and the stealthing thing was unprofessional and even criminal in some jurisdictions. And you got the 2 STDs as a result I suppose of the unprotected sex.

You say you had met him once before when you were 27. So, he was not a complete unknown. I guess he has changed since COVID as many others have too. He sounds like he is a bit desperate financially and he may have taken you for an easy mark. Good on you that you gave chase and had the help of the hotel security and police afterwards. It pays to stay in a good hotel and your case proves the point. For myself I always stay in good hotels when entertaining escorts.

You didn't say what happened to your second date that day, the porn actor escort. Did that get cancelled in view of your trouble?

I certainly would have to disagree that Lawson trying to run off with my camera/phones that had the content would qualify as him living up to that part of the bargain. Had hotel security not intervened, he certainly would have made off with the content I paid him to make with me. The deal certainly wasn’t for him to make the content and then rob me of the content. I would have much rather he got arrested and missed his flight to NYC the next day. I just didn’t like that he still got some type of compensation after trying stray from the initial agreement by robbing me of the content and then some.

This encounter happened when I was 27. I’m 29 now. The meet with the studio porn guy went well. I took a bunch of pictures (he brought so many for our little photoshoot). He was a bit more hung than Lawson. I asked him to stop after a few minutes and just gave him head until he finished instead. I imagine he might have been bigger than I’m used to and it may have resulted in a cut or something and that’s why Lawson saw blood later on that day. I don’t know why he would see blood and his first instinct would be to keep going. That certainly made me think that he might have had something a bit worse. I would have lost the content I made with the studio porn guy as well had Lawson not been stopped by security.

Lawson has given me a wake-up call to the words in his ad, "open to most things", knowing that could mean theft of property.

I though am alarmed by the video playback of your private goings-on in the bedroom. Does surveillance give people in rooms no privacy any longer, or were you being filmed on purpose with your and his authorization? Was taking your stuff and bolting due to discovering he's being filmed against his wishes?

If you could go back in time, the missing money (your donation of time) should have been reported as just that along with the other things he took - "money out of my wallet". You would've been able to get that back, too.

I filmed our encounter on my Sony camera. I let him know that I was down for his $1000 rate if I could make videos and take pictures of him. I wish I had the surveillance video of when security tackled him. It would have been amazing to get a copy of that. He left after we were done with our meet - just unexpectedly and with my messenger bag/stuff. I would have totally tried to lie and say that he stole $1000 from me, but given the actual nature of the meet, I was reluctant to do so. I got my camera equipment and iPhones back, so that was enough for the moment.

I'd report him to RentMen. You may not have proof, but at least he'll get kicked off if anyone else meets him and has trouble.

EDIT: You won't be able to leave a review without meeting, so go the report route. I did this to a thief who also decided to ply his trade on RM.  Shortly afterwards, I recall he received a1-star review, and was apparently expelled from RM within days.

I really wanted to go after him for the stealthing thing since I was told California has some kind of civil law against it. But the fact that I paid him made me hesitant to ever do anything about it even with the video of him taking off the condom. I will definitely see if I can report him. I'd hate for anybody to experience the same thing. I really did not see it coming. He was actually quite late to our meet and I had to get going, but I stayed to help him out. I seriously wonder if he would have gotten physical if I just left like I had intended. I seriously wanted to say something like "I'm sorry about your parking pass, but I have to get going. You're welcome to stay here and look". I planned to head home and check out of the hotel, so he could have stayed behind as long as he wanted to look. Given that he was literally digging through the trash cans though, I believed him.

Not the best idea to meet someone with no reviews. Hopefully you leave one on his current profile.

He didn't appear to have a RentMen profile when we met. I saw him on Seeking and he seemed rather popular on Twitter, so I didn't think he could be that bad. How wrong I was.

  12. https://rentmen.eu/lawsonshorny

Hey, so I came across Lawson’s profile on rentmen after meeting him about 2 years ago. I just wanted to share my experience with him. It’s a pretty crazy story if you’re in the mood to read.

I booked a room at a really nice hotel. It was a spacious one-bedroom suite in Downtown LA. This was my first escort/sexual encounter in some time (about 2 years exactly) due to COVID. I’m a heavyset guy and feared complications if I got sick, so I remained completely abstinent. I planned to see Lawson as well as a studio porn actor. I was going to see the porn guy first and then Lawson later that afternoon. I met Lawson on Seeking. He was 19 at the time and I was 27. I like to make videos/take pictures, so I brought over my Sony mirrorless camera. It wasn't super high-end model, but it still cost $2100 for the body and a kit lens. I brought some other lenses. Two were about $1000 and the other $2100 (it cost more than the camera body itself). I also had two iPhones and a special edition BTS Android phone. I wanted to have a little photoshoot with Lawson and then make the sex videos, so I brought the various phones to get other angles and I’ve used the BTS phone to store samples of past stuff I’ve made to show as a reference for poses and whatnot. He agreed to film us having sex and everything for $1000.

When he first gets there, I don’t think he looked 100% like his pictures on Twitter. I’m a bottom and all, but I really appreciate a big butt. His butt looked much smaller in-person (made me think he edited his photos to make it look bigger/knows his angles). He also was not as cute. It was honestly the first time I wanted to turn someone away. However, not having had sex in so long, I decided to ignore him not seeming as cute. After we were done, Lawson starts tearing apart the room acting like he lost something (he was digging through the trash, lifting up the mattress, etc). Being nice, I believe him and help him look. The hotel room was this big suite as I mentioned. I had placed all of my tech/camera stuff in my messenger bag. I set it down in the living room area while I helped him look in the bedroom. He then walks over to the living room area as I heard him say “Did you check under the pillows”? The next thing I know, the door slams shut and my bag is gone. I run out immediately and saw that he fled down the emergency exit stairs. I try to give chase, but I'm nowhere near as fast as the speedy demon twink. I luckily still had my main phone (yet another Android) and called the police before heading down to the 1st floor of the hotel. I then started talking with a hotel security guard about the guy and embarrassingly mentioned that it was a casual encounter gone wrong. I was checking my phone constantly and noticed a notification that Lawson was typing something on Snapchat (this was pretty fucked up I have to say – like was he going to tease me that he got away?). In a stroke of pure luck, Lawson gets off the elevator as I am chatting with security (guess the emergency exit stairs only got him so far/or he didn’t want to walk down 50+ stories). I run and grab my messenger bag by one of the straps and refuse to let go. Another security guard shows up and the thief tells him that I am crazy and that he is just trying to go home. The security guard that I spoke with comes to my defense as I pull out a badge from a tech convention I had been to in the past with my name/picture from my bag. The thief lets go, but then he starts to run, so I got suspicious. I checked my bag and the camera is there, but my other phones were missing. I try to give chase again, but no luck. Security is on my side by this point and they manage to trip the thief to the ground. He gets up though and continues to run. I figure my phones are gone, but security comes back with them all. He said that he had to chase the guy for 8 blocks. He then asks me to unlock each phone to prove they are mine, which I gladly do. Security at this hotel was amazing. However, they told me that they let Lawson go and stated he was banned from the premises. Shaken up, I just decided to go home. I told Lawson about my plans after our meet; that I had ordered takeout from a nice steak place nearby. I went to get my food and as I waited for an Uber, I kept looking around my surroundings. I seriously feared for my safety. The fact that he was basically tackled to the ground must have been embarrassing and that he got away without the stuff he tried to steal, had me fearing he would try again. I couldn't stop thinking about how traumatic the experience was. The police called me afterwards and said they spoke with the hotel and that I should call them if I still require police assistance. I got my stuff back, but I really felt the guy deserved to be booked and have something on his record. I didn't think he would suffer much of a penalty, but I don't like how he basically got away with trying to steal over $6,000 in camera equipment and two iPhones yet received nothing more than a quick tackle to the ground and still got $1000 out of it. Lastly, to make matters worse, I watched back one of the videos and noticed that Lawson took off the condom I asked him to wear. Being that I am not all that sexually active (even pre-COVID), I always asked for protection/condoms since I wasn’t on PrEP at the time. I could swear I heard Lawson say something like “Shit is that blood?” yet in the video he removed the condom and tried to top me again for about another minute or two. I wound up testing positive for two STDs. So we have robbery(attempted robbery?) and stealthing.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading. I thought my stuff was gone. He was such a good scammer. Like him taking the phones out of the bag was fiendishly brilliant. His little act with the lost parking pass seemed quite rehearsed too looking back. I don’t think that was his first time trying the act. I didn’t see him with a parking pass when he entered the hotel room. Before he showed up, he asked to see a picture on Snapchat of my camera, which also looking back was a little odd. Did he look up the value of the camera? I guess I should have taken that as a red flag.

He apparently had a history of scamming others on Twitter/X and reddit. He changed his usernames quite often from marsvance to lawsonnhornerr (or some variation) and even had other names too when he would get called out. I saw one instance that he tried to sell feet pics and blocked the guy when he got payment, but never delivered the pics. With me, he certainly seemed to escalate things. I wish I had done my research before what happened to me. I wanted to warn others and made a little Grindr profile sharing my story (and even used mock locations to pretend to follow him to New York). His friends reached out and told me Lawson only tried to rob me because he didn’t want me to have the videos/pictures. That’s what we had agreed on, so if he was uncomfortable with the arrangement, I wonder why he chose to meet up with me.

tldr; exercise extreme caution if you meet this guy. I still have the content we made and I just have it stored on my hard drive buried in a series of folders so I don’t really come across the images of that traumatic day.

Now that you've blocked his number, you're in the clear. Go give him a one star review. He stole $1000 from you. If you hadn't offered it for sexy services, he'd be in prison right now.

ONE more suggestion: never use your real phone number!

I actually use two phones. I have an iPhone and a Samsung phone. The Samsung is my main phone. I bought an iPhone when I'd text some of the guys and they'd say stuff like "Eww green bubble, are you sure you can afford to pay me lol?". I may be misquoting, but I literally received a message like that once =\

Never pay upfront. If you do decide to take a chance and provide a deposit up front, always use PayPal "Paying for an item or service" with a description "Vendor deposit".  That way, if he disappears you can file for a refund by telling PayPal the vendor did not show up.  PayPal is usually quite good at charge backs if you have an established account for more than a year and no history of frequent charge backs. 🤓

I had a guy that said he liked to be paid on Cash App. After he flaked, I tried to do a chargeback with my card and then Cash App just up and closed my account 😅 I definitely would trust PayPal more to get my money back, but Valentino was insistent on Zelle.

the very VERY least you could do, for stealing over $1000, is give him the worst one-star review ever on RM. most people dont read companyofmen, but they read and respond accordingly to bad reviews on RM.

also, in my humble opinion, he isnt worth $100 lol. but to each their own. sorry he stole your money! i dont know if its commonplace to give deposits but i never do it, especially because these guys know we dont have another (legal) recourse if they just bail.

I wanted to leave him a bad review, but he texted me quite a few times before I blocked his number, so I was a little concerned he would have some rather unkind messages if I didn't block him on RM too. He was really just so damn negative about everything that I was worried he would make a bunch of remarks during our planned meet and I wouldn't enjoy myself.

I do rather like twinks and blondes (even fake blondes), so he was very much my type. The attitude was too much for me though. I think the whole deposit thing started with me because some guys believed I wouldn't actually pay up/didn't trust me. I remember I tried to hire one of my first escorts when I was 21. The guy asked my age and I remember him saying something like "Are you sure you're 21? I'm 21....". I guess he could have been saying I looked older lol, but I've had a number of comments about my age (usually that I look young). I would have wanted to give Valentino just a simple $200 deposit instead of the $900, but I feel like he would not have been happy with that.

There are a lot of guys with attitude like this. I'm certain they have the hot daddies of WeHo wrapped around their collective fingers.

One such guy I messaged, halted correspondence after I said I couldn't afford 800 an hour. I recently saw him getting out of a brand-new Porsche in WeHo. I don't think he would even entertain the offer anymore. I mean why would he?

That reminds me somewhat of this one Vegas escort I tried to hire several years ago. We were both in Los Angeles at the same time. I had booked a stay at the Lisa Frank Hotels.com experience (given that they had so few nights available, I've always wondered if I was one of the only people to film xxx videos there).

Anyway, he quoted me at $700 and he would do everything I like  - sex videos with face and all. He asked for a small advance as he said he was in desperate need of money. I sent him $200 and hoped to see him. He never showed up. I did see two other guys that day though and one of them used the Lisa Frank pictures I took of him as material for his Twitter page, so that was kinda cute hah.

A few months after he got back to Vegas, he started dating a daddy type (some VP at a bank). The escort was living in a huge house and had designer handbags for every single day of the month it seemed. They got engaged. His rentmen page was gone, but he did keep his OF page. I guess he wanted it around as a backup in case that wedding never happened, but once it did his page was gone haha. I really don't see him ever needing to escort again unless the hubby wanted to trade him in a for a newer younger version. But yeah, I think I'm a little too trusting at times. He was pretty hot and I would have loved a video with him.

Jeez what line of work are you in that you would even consider those prices!!!!🤣😂🤣

I'm by no means loaded. I work for an AI company as a project manager and make just a bit above six figures. I like to hire cute guys once or twice a month and make videos. I've paid 2000 before, but the guy was a hunkier studio porn performer who seemed more worth that price.

Yeah, he was so combative every step of the way. It really seemed like he was trying to ask for as much as possible before I objected. I don't know if it's my age as well. I feel like some of these guys think I'm easy to take advantage of since I might be on the younger end of people who hire escorts.

So your experience with him was via text? Phone? DM?

First on the website. I asked him his rate and he said 800. I saw that his ad said available for videos, so I asked. He said for that, it would be 1500. He then suggests I text him, so I did. He really wanted me to get a hotel in WeHo, but I was going to be in Downtown Los Angeles and didn't really want to get a hotel room that would be more inconvenient for me (I had some business to attend to in Downtown LA). I offered an extra 100 for an Uber. I then say what I wanted to do again to make sure he understood and Valentino said "What did we agree on? Like 2000? And that's for videos without face?" I told him I didn't really think it was worth it for that amount not to have his face in the videos, but he later said it was fine. He then said he would insist on a payment beforehand. I sent a little less than half. He then told me he needed to be somewhere by 1PM. I had asked to meet at 11:30 so we could have about an hour of fun. On the day of the planned meet, he then said he was going to be running late because I insisted on a hotel that was so damn far away from WeHo (his words). Given that he said he was running late at 11:30, I felt like he might really eat into that hour we agreed upon. He just kept complaining (even after providing him with a deposit of 900). It seemed like a fight with how his rate ballooned from 800 to 2000. I felt some bad vibes given how combative he came across in trying to plan a meet. After he tried to blame me for him being late, I told him I don't think we will get along and I just blocked his number. Sucks that I'm out almost a grand, but paying another 1,100 for a meet that might have been as little as 30 mins seemed ridiculous. He has three 5 star reviews, so I expected him to be somewhat decent.
