  1. In Avalon's defense: If you're dealing with a chronic health problem, you eventually come to a point where you've exhausted the good treatment options, the low hanging fruit. The only options left are risky and/or have effects you don't want. Worse, you might be dealing with providers who aren't as careful as you would like. Then, if you have problems, some future doctor will say, "Oh, it's too bad your doctor/nurse didn't take precautions." At that point, it's really tempting to do nothing and hope the situation gets better. I've read a bunch of journal articles. My concerns are definitely warranted, but I've decided to take the leap and hope it works out. I will ask the doctor to work with me to prevent the recurrence of the issues that happened last time. If not, I'll find another doctor, even if that means paying out of pocket and/or traveling. (I'm in NYC, but the experts in this area are elsewhere.)
  2. Happy birthday to one of my very favorite posters.
  3. After a few bad experiences, I no longer do outcall to clients' homes.
  4. No, but you get a free 24 hours on my OnlyFans.
  5. My good Baron, Porsches are fun but the X5 is more comfortable for my Pomeranian. Surely, my clients would not want him to suffer.
  6. I'm not offended by it, but it's awkward.
  7. That's all right. I welcome charity donations, too.
  8. This tradition dates from a time when very few women worked, and men and women socialized separately. If you tried to do this now, you'd be standing all the time.
  9. I’m a $842,000 a night escort. That’s my rate for overnights. I have a BMW X series on my Amazon wishlist so that men can buy it for me.
  10. I have a tiny travel alarm clock. I have a small cabinet as my bedside table right now, and I need space for books, water bottle, and so on. You have to press the backlight button to see the time at night.
  11. “My fluffy look is a real chick magnet.”
  12. Maybe a get-together at a senior center would work. Avalon barely counts as a senior though.
  13. Guess I'm the only person who thought this was funny.
  14. Would social interaction with a paid care assistant be any better? Let's be honest: Many of them hate their jobs. I agree that the landlord may say "enough" at some point.
  15. It's a pair of black women's panties.
  16. Avalon says he’s paying market or below. But even if he’s paying a little above market, it might be a good deal compared to hiring a new person to assist him. The landlord or his wife is right there 24/7 and willing and able to assist.

  18. Excellent attitude. I try to think of too much at one time and get overwhelmed.
  19. Yeah, but does Medicare only cover the cheaper walkers? I sometimes end up going cash pay rather than going through my HMO because the insurance makes it a huge hassle or because the out-of-network providers in a particular specialty are much higher quality than the in-network providers.
  20. But it's also an opportunity to walk further than you would otherwise, since you'd have a chance to sit--maybe in a shady spot under a tree.
  21. Chronic pain is awful . I'm glad you're able to address it without opiates. The drug @Rudynate mentioned apparently balances out testosterone levels and maintains sperm count in infertile men. Avalon, maybe it would make sense to review all medications with your doctors and see if they are still necessary.
  22. I found a photo of one of those escorts who only serves women.
  23. I love the end of DST. I go to sleep really late. Plus I need an a ton of sleep lately.
  24. Interestingly, the safest BMI level increases with age. Even with smokers taken out, the left side of the curve still slopes downward.
  25. Jealousy? But I wouldn't put much stock in what characters on Law and Order say.
