  1. That’s it. It’s the third link here. I’m not a subscriber but when I clicked on the link, one of his posts mentioned Tinder.
  2. Ed Smart, whose daughter Elizabeth Smart was abducted in 2002, has announced that he is gay but says he is not leaving the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Smart, 64, of Salt Lake City, said it has taken most of his life to accept his sexual orientation. "I was attracted to men going as far back as 12 years old," he told CNN. "I tried to suppress that; it's not me, not who I am. I tried to put that out." Smart is divorcing his wife, Lois, but said he's not leaving her for someone else. The divorce, he explained, is in the interest of fairness to everyone. "Never wanted to live with regret," he said. "My belief was something that was very difficult to come to terms with. I tried and I tried to reconcile my beliefs, and I could not. Therefore, I no longer accept the guilt and the shame that I have basically had my whole life." Smart said he hasn't removed his name from the church, though "if they were to push me to do so, I would." For now, he's still a member, but he said religion makes it very difficult to identify with something "that is so put down upon." "The trauma that occurs -- keeping that inside -- it makes you miserable," he said. "I don't think God wants us to be miserable." The church used to consider same-sex couples to be "apostates," but the rule was dropped this year. However, the church said it still considers such marriages to be a "serious transgression." Smart and his family were thrust into the spotlight in 2002, when Elizabeth, then 14, was abducted from their home. She has said that she was kept tethered to a tree and raped repeatedly during her captivity. In 2003, she was found walking down a Utah street with her kidnappers, just 5 miles from her home. One of the kidnappers was released from prison last year. https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/16/us/ed-smart-gay-trnd/index.html
  3. That guy on OnlyFans who recruits by posing as a woman uses Tinder.
  4. Thanks. I should have thought of that!
  5. This began a few days ago. When I hover over, it displays the heading of a convo I’ve already read. Is there any way to reset it?
  6. Does Usenet Dejanews count?
  7. I totally understand vanity but I found the article a little sad.
  8. How Many Bones Would You Break to Get Laid? “Incels” are going under the knife to reshape their faces, and their dating prospects.
  9. If he knows what "normative" means, he's probably not str8.
  10. That sounds uncomfortable and possibly illegal.
  11. Law of Unintended Consequences "The passage of the Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act has led to a reported increase in risky behaviors by sex workers as a result of quashing their ability to seek and screen clients online, forcing them back onto the streets or into the dark web. The ads posted were previously an avenue for advocates to reach out to those wanting to escape the trade."
  12. Sorry, Gman. Prednisone gave me crazy insomnia and made me so hungry I could eat two full meals if I wanted to. But my pain dropped by more than 50%, and that's all that mattered.

  15. Regressing a little but I loved this.
  16. You still need an egg.
  17. Roommate wanted situations are often posted on local university FB groups—UCLA, USC, Pomona, community colleges, etc. Does he have any friends with access to these groups?
  18. Babies have been delivered from transplanted uteri. If it were possible to do this for men, they'd have to be impregnated via IVF (done laparoscopically) and would need constant hormone supplementation during and after the pregnancy. Also, the uterus would need some source of blood supply. https://www.livescience.com/60873-men-pregnant-uterus-transplant.html
  19. You’d be surprised. Women still do the majority of the housework.
  20. “My water just broke!’” Oh, wait...
  21. Was the suit expensive looking? Maybe he was a Wall St guy who lost his job after the crash of 1987. Just a theory. ?
  22. Actually, I’ve heard of similar situations, where the mom thought the kid had been dropped off. Safety experts recommend that parents check the backseat every time they leave the car.
  23. Thanks for reminding me, Sniper. I just got back and was planning to call up your recommended place on Monday. I’m still afraid to use the arm against resistance because it flared so easily but now I can do more.
  24. Bottom line is that they want to keep the 007 franchise going while pandering to Millennials. Also, in this era of Me Too, having a male Bond mess with a female colleague or even a foreign counterpart wouldn’t be a good look. If the film does well, there will be more female 007s. Otherwise, they can check off the strong woman box and go back to casting male leads.
