  1. There's something hot about a guy who wears a watch during sexy time.
  2. Elaine was pretty attractive.
  3. I’ve developed a surgical complication and am so frustrated. I was scar tissue-free when the surgery was done, per the operative note. Now I have a rare and recalcitrant kind of adhesion. It’s so rare they only two surgeons in the country do high volumes. I thought I was done with this stuff after the surgery in September. I had read about this preop but never asked since it’s so rare. Turns out this is largely preventable if you put in a balloon catheter for a few days post op.

  5. Sad situation. First time I’ve ever heard a man described at mousy.

  7. And what’s wrong with with ASOS? Some of my favorite pieces are from them, along with Revolve and Reformation.
  8. When men reach a quite power and status, their sex drive and sense of entitlement increase dramatically.
  9. I emailed my doctor, and he thinks I might have an adhesion. We need an in-office procedure to check it out and remove the possible adhesions. I’m glad my MD is cautious and jumped on this rather than taking a wait and see approach. Not looking forward to an anesthesia-free procedure, but maybe looking at him will be nice. With this kind of procedure, he might be able to tell how I feel. ?
  10. What if the shopper isn’t Interested in “fun” with you and has you kicked out of the store—or worse. An escort might be able to accomplish both. Maybe ask the escort to scout of the store a few days earlier. BTW, if you really want to improve how you dress, stylish friend > personal shopper.
  11. Few good NYC PCPs of any orientation are accepting new non-PPO patients. Mine is good, but he’s a specialist who sidelines as a GP.

  13. Meh. She was 30 when she approached him at a club and initiated the affair. She tried to talk him into leaving his wife, and he waffled. After it ended, she ran crying to the media.
  14. I hope your healing is going well, @honcho.

  17. [QUOTE="sniper, post: 1844066, member: 5637"]I think in the interest of minimizing the "scene," if possible I would have paid the bill, taken it and the coupon to the casino manager later and secured an equivalent value comp. I agree that it was ok to use the coupon but better to avoid an in-person complaint. Hindsight is 20/20, but posting an anonymous complaint on social media afterwards could be effective. “I came in because of your coupon and was so embarrassed when it was rejected.”
  18. Thanks, @oldNbusted. I got it. Now my running shoe has a nice, tight knot that is true to my aristocratic ancestry.
  19. This notion is so annoying. Women are as interested in solutions as men are. But if someone has tried the obvious options to no avail, she’ll be irritated if someone offers up an obvious option as if it’s a novel idea. BTW, women offer those kinds of “solutions” as often as men do. Sometimes it’s best to stay quiet and just let someone talk. (I need to learn to do that as much as anyone.)
  20. That was what I thought, too.
  21. Thanks, OneFinger. I can walk without much pain, but going up a c down stairs hurts. TBH, Hitting my kneecap wouldn’t have been a big deal if I hadn’t just finished a year of medical adventures. The idea that I could have brought another round of surgery on myself—and on my friggin’ birthday—was scary. You don’t sound old to me. You sound like an energetic road warrior.
  22. You sound really upset, but I’m a little confused about what happened. Could you say more without identifying yourself?
  23. I think many Rentafriend people say they aren’t open to it. It could be that the other ones are. I wonder if negotiating the rates might get tricky though, particularly if the amount of time spent on sex vs platonic stuff changes over time.
  24. Fortunately, the knee is fine other than some issue that appeared to be old. I’m relieved. When my knee hit the ground, I thought it might be fractured. Thanks for the kind thoughts, everyone
  25. I was in a rush and ran out the door. I hadn’t noticed that a long shoelace had gotten stuck in the closed door. So, of course, I fell on the stone and hit/scraped my knee. It burns now. And just as things were going well too. I’m now spending part of my birthday in urgent carecto see if it’s fractured or dislocated. Better my knee than my neck, I guess.
