  1. I did go back and asked the following: "I just want to make sure I have enough on hand. When I asked about donation I was referring to your rate (just in case you thought I meant tip). Are you saying that any amount I want to give is okay with you? I certainly will be fair but just feel I want to be sure up front." His reply: "I’ll accept any amount you’ll give with no complaints" Too good to be true or a one in a million find?
  2. Thanks everyone. I think I will contact him again to clarify that I am asking about his rates in case he is thinking tip and say that I want to make sure I have proper funds on hand. I wonder if he thinks maybe I am law enforcement and that is why he is being so evasive? Just never encountered that before.
  3. I've been hiring for many many years and this is a first for me.....I am traveling to a city on vacation and have checked out the options for hiring. One guy in particular caught my attention so I contacted him to see about setting something up. He's been very good at responding to the messages and everything has gone well. When I inquired as to his rate (I used the term "donation"), here is what his reply was: "Any amount you will give is okay to me" I'm a bit flummoxed as this is something I've never encountered before. Thoughts that run through my mind are he is so easy going that it doesn't really matter (hey, it could happen), he isn't serious about meeting (but every indication is that he is quite professional up to this point), that it is a sting (unlikely from what I have been able to determine) or there is going to be some issue at the time of meeting. I'm not cheap and would certainly give him a fair amount if we do actually meet. My question to everyone here is have you ever encountered such a reply and what did or would you do? Should I take him at his word, move on or insist on setting an amount in advance by providing an offer? Basically how would you deal with such a situation. Btw, he has no reviews on Rentmen or on Daddy's or any mention of him on the message board. Been a member of Rentmen since 2017.
  4. It could also possibly be voicemail messages left by the client.
  5. Quite a tirade to his latest review (10/28/19).....comments? Seems to me he did more harm than good. "If that review gets posted tomorrow. I will be more than happy to take both of you to court for defamation of character. I’ve already sent you one of the recordings that I have. I really don’t want it to have to come to court honestly. But if you give me no other option I will take 5 grand out of my bank for a lawyer and not feel about it. Playing with someone’s reputation is just not cool. Your starting to back me more and more into a corner and animals are most dangerous when there cornered so remember that. By the way this not a threat this is a promise. If you think just because I’m 22 years old that you can take advantage of me. Your sadly mistaken and I’ve been talking to lawyers. I have a very good one all lined up mark my words and if I have to go all the way to your Vegas trailer park I will. Yes I know your living in a trailer I know pornstars that you’ve hired in the past that are my buddies. So I could ruin you in a lot of different ways not just legally. Mark my words I will do it really if you give me no choice and I will be ruthless in doing it. I’ve been talking to my pornstar buddies as well and they say that I have a good case with more than enough evidence to win. I will not feel badly about anything I do if that review is posted tomorrow. I mean after all you didn’t feel bad about ruining my reputation. So why should I care about your life and reputation? I’ve sent you multiple emails to both of you addresses and even sent you one of my recordings. You will see the second one in court if necessary."
  6. Wow....just wish he wasn't only a bottom
  7. Yes to read reviews and hire accordingly after building up as much rapport before the visit as possible. I respectfully disagree with Ben on the last suggestion he made. Although not a good thing to never say never, I would say never fly someone in unless you have met them before. It is just too costly and risky, even if you "feel they're THE guy". I don't care how good their reviews are and what kind of connection you may make over the phone/iemails/etc, it isn't until you are with someone that you know for sure if there is compatibility and if it is worth the expense to fly someone in to meet you. Don't let your little head think for your big head.

I eventually was able to set something up with him and had a nice three hour appointment, including dinner, etc. The review was from me from about a month or so ago. PM if interested in any details.
  9. I was saddened to hear of his passing. I fully agree he was the highlight of the Carol Burnett show and he was always great with Harvey Korman. He was born and started his career in Cleveland so I remember him when I was growing up and watching him in skits with Ernie Anderson (who later went on to the voice of ABC). Tim will be missed.
  10. Maybe more of a yellow flag, requiring some further due diligence, is if the quoted rate is exceptionally low compared to going rates. Especially so if the list of things they are into are fairly comprehensive. So if I see an hourly rate of $100 or an overnight for $600 that raises some concern about possible extra charges.
  11. I used to fly from Newark to New Delhi quite often several years ago and that was just over 15 hours, if I remember correctly. I did it both coach and first. No way I could do coach again for that long so a 19 hour flight would have to be first for sure (is the 4k cost first?). Unless there is an overwhelming reason to do otherwise, these days I break up long long flights into multiple segments and try to have a day or more layover in between. It's tough getting older and those flights are for the young.
  12. Tax time is bad enough without having to suffer through these new "free" ads by TurboTax. So annoying... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VV80ozpuMw
  13. Any feedback would be appreciated. https://rent.men/JuicyStrawberry Very eager to travel to my city to meet...maybe a little too eager.
  14. Lived there for five years and the highlight of my career and experiences overseas.
  15. I've followed them for a long time and their journey has been quite enjoyable to watch. So there is some sadness with the breakup but life goes on. I also think the break up video was very well done. I've followed several different gay couple channels over the years and more often than not, sadly, the end result is the same. If anyone is interested in another couple to follow that are still together I have always enjoyed PK Creedon's channel (with his bf Mike). It is often a bit more silly than the videos by Mark and Ethan but that is part of what defines PK and Mike.
  16. I believe, but not sure, he comes from somewhere in Texas. Any info would be appreciated https://rent.men/Botello

  18. Maybe he didn't like the amount of the tip you gave him

https://rent.men/TristanNYDC/ No posts or reviews here (that I've been able to find). Sent couple messages recently with zero response so just about to move on but thought I'd check here first if anyone had any details to provide.

I've not run across the term "sugar" in ads before (other than sugar daddy) but as he is referring to payment in that sentence is it safe for me to assume that it refers to drugs (in general) and perhaps cocaine specifically? Or is it something else?
  21. On some fronts they have. In regards to hiring, I would say there has definitely been an uptick in numbers and types of escorts to choose from (both locals and those passing through). I'm more upbeat about things than I was 6 years ago.

It seemed to me that it took a bit of time for him to respond to some messages, but he always did respond (I believe all those were via the Rentmen message center) but for the few texts we exchanged those were good. There were a couple requests from him to adjust the day and/or time of the meeting but we were able to work things out. Perhaps that would be considered flaky to some but I didn't have an issue with it.
  23. I haven't seen one in ages but when I was a boy it was the highlight of the summer every day that it came by. The one that came by was called "Mr. Frosty". Good memories
