The more interesting question is - will his travel time count towards the hourly fee that you are booking him for? For example, you hire the dude for an hour, outcall. It takes him 30 minutes to travel to you, one way. Do you owe him 1 or 2 hours? Make sure to clarify that. I think it is time for us clients to be more assertive.
