  1. My point was that it was not necessarily sloppiness but an artistic choice that the director didnt care. I have been a consultant on movies and tv from time to time, and it always frustrated me when I informed directors of anachronisms or factual errors. One famous ex star who was "directing' (and I use the term loosely) would say one day she wanted it to be accurate, but when facts would disturb her "vision" she would then say she knew but didnt care as it was not the point, and it wasnt supposed to be fiction anyway.
  2. yay best news ever, wanted one without the other!
  3. Dont get me wrong-I agree with you in principal. But what I meant was that maybe that statue was not meant to be the actual one that was discovered but respresentative of the art, which is a reason it was allowed. But I agree that real anachronisms in time periods are an annoying especially if jt affects the plot credibility as it did for me in the florence foster jenkins movie
  4. It is neither a documentary or a history lesson so I think artistic licence is allowed in a fictional movie, no?
  5. I ask because I thought he was only doing bookings with JJ Knight and not separately. If that has changed its good to know
  6. Curious, was this recently?
  7. I love the look of this guy and his profile, and would be tempted. Any info? https://rentmen.eu/ChristopheLDN
  8. Strange how many experiences contradict each other on him
  9. Would be willing
  10. He looks hot!
  11. keen to try Kenzo too.......
  12. One of my absolute favourites, would love to meet him
  13. If he really wanted to make a stand against him, wouldnt he have turned down the role?
  14. Please do not put words into my mouth. See my previous reply-it was meant to be helpful as I considered the fact that maybe he would find the previous threads interesting. you added the phrase "if only he does his homework" which was nowhere to be found or implied in my response
  15. I totally get that, and it wasn't meant as an admonishment....more as something useful in case you didn't get a lot of responses from many forum members who may have felt this topic had been covered so much in the past. A lot of conflicting views expressed in previous threads......
  16. There are multiple threads on this subject here, it has been covered ad nauseam. Only telling you this as you might be likely to receive no new responses for that reason, but if you try searching you will get a ton of thoughts on this subject
  17. Yes, I get that, but am still mystified as to what the comment from Typical above means about this photo being a 'clear sign to avoid"? He looks fine in it to me, so was wondering what I was missing.
  18. Thanks for that-yes, still not sure what the issue is with it????
  19. Can anyone tell me what is so apparently awful about his 4th picture-am really not clear why its so different looking from the others??
  20. i think the post was meant to be funny......
  21. Wait, am confused, aren't people saying Pasha doesn't give happy endings, but now youre saying he always does?
  22. They both have "into smoking" on their profile......also I dont agree with the above comment about hygiene. I have never met a smoker yet who doesnt smell of it. if you are lucky enough to not mind it, or not have a highly develope sense of smell it might be ok, but it is a major boner killer for me
  23. Agreed, prefer it to the Showtime one! My only gripe is John Doman's incongruous and anachronistic American crime series accent as the Pope-maybe it won't bother others, but it just seems incredibly inappropriately "modern" sounding to my ears>?
