This is somewhat of a shady industry for both the providers and the customers. Sometimes customers do shady shit to providers like doing chargebacks or reporting charges as fraud which leaves the providers with no compensation and no way of defending themselves. Sometimes providers do shady shit to customers such as extorting their customers for money after services provided or not following through with agreed services. If you want to protect yourselves then apply some safety measures like using a burner phone or phone number (google voice or some other voip service), never send pictures of yourself and never allow yourself to be recorded, never use your real name or real last name, etc. I have had experience with these guys and I can say from my experience that they’re both professional. They are latin though so they may react in a very latin way when they’re fucked with (i’m latin myself so I can say that), which is to say they may be somewhat aggressive or emotional/hot headed in their initial response which may cause them to not actually think carefully when they’re handling tricky situations. It’s a cultural difference that leads to situations like these. Not excusing it but trying to explain it given that I understand their culture.

I’d like to share a quick thought. Recently, I tried sessions with two new therapists, and it gave me some perspective.
It turns out that the spa owners and staff do read the posts in this forum. When it comes to massage quality or communication with clients, they genuinely appreciate feedback and are willing to improve. However, there have been some negative comments that aren’t entirely accurate, and unfortunately, they don’t have a way to publicly respond or clarify those points.
Some of the therapists have also expressed that they would prefer discussions here to focus on the massage itself, rather than other topics. They’ve mentioned feeling uncomfortable and even a bit unsafe,knowing that this is a public forum that anyone, including outside parties or authorities, can access.
For anything beyond general massage experiences, it might be more appropriate to discuss privately via DM. There have also been situations where clients come in expecting specific things because they read about it here, and then try to direct the therapist to do exactly that. It’s important to remember that every therapist has their own boundaries and professional choices, and it’s completely their right to decide what they are or aren’t comfortable offering.
Let’s be respectful of that and avoid putting pressure on them.

I asked him about it, and he said the $30 was for a 2-hour massage with extra services, so he felt very disappointed

I booked Nathan two weeks ago.  The massage was excellent.  He was neither anxious nor aggressive.   The extras arose naturally and I left happy.

I’d really like you to try booking a session with him first. Before I went, I read a lot of reviews, and most people praised how highly professional his massage is. During the session, he doesn’t ask or offer anything extra,if you want more, you have to give him some kind of signal. Otherwise, he’ll just continue the massage all the way through, which is exactly what happened my first time with him.
But the second time I went back, everything was perfect. I’ll definitely be seeing him again.

Don’t just believe what others say,I’d rather you try it yourself before making a judgment.

Then finally got a response out of the blue that didn't answer any (very basic) questions (general location, is he trained at massage, etc) but simply listed prices and times.
So, just kinda turned off.
But in another month, I'll look at his pictures again and this cycle may restart LOL....

I went and tried the new spot. It was a mixed experience. While TWS is in the apex of a busy strip mall,  Silverlake Wellness is a bit more inconspicuous as it’s tucked away off a busy street. It’s a standalone building. I like the setup inside TWS more. 
 
I booked a session with Parker as I thought he was really cute in his pics on the website. His look in person was different than those online. I left underwhelmed with my session. He may get better with experience. 
 

I agree with the comments about Peter’s massage. I’ve gone to see him three times, and he actually gives a very good massage. If you like a deep, medium, or light pressure, you can just tell him. For the sensual massage, he’s also starting to add some nice touches, which makes it exciting for me. As for tipping, I never saw him mention it or ask for anything extra. However, I’m happy and willing to give him a tip for the good massage experience he provides.

I recently had a massage experience with Josh and Peter.
Josh is a sweet guy and good massage overall. However in terms of other things he’s inexperienced therefore I didn’t ask for anything other than the massage. I will come back for a massage for him but not expecting other things.
 
Peter on the other hand is also an average massage. He offered for other things if I tip him well. I declined as I really just want a massage. When he saw my abs he became possessive and continues to touch me even when I said I’m okay. He even ask if I am single and that he would give me his phone number. Definitely not coming back for him.

I had similar experiences with Josh and Peter but there was no talk of tipping or upcharging with either of them.
I've seen Josh about 4x, he gives a good massage and I agree that he's inexperienced with extras but I've enjoyed them with him each time. He was pretty shy when I first met him but he's pretty comfortable with me now and really gets into the extras. 
I saw Peter once and his massage was fine but unremarkable and definitely not sensual. In the end he gave an unenthusiastic HE with some MT. He's a good fit for anyone who just wants a non-sensual massage with release.

Andre for sure. Patrick used to be as good as Andre, but Patrick's got real attitude and arrogance these days and will send you inappropriate notes afterwards if he's in a mood. Andre, however, is simply adorable.
