Honestly, I don’t really think much of it. Maybe it’s because I’ve already seen all of them in person, so no matter how much they edit their photos now, it doesn’t really change how I see them. If anything, I actually think most of them look better in person than they do in their pictures.
But I totally understand how new clients might have certain expectations based on the photos they see on the website. (I was the same way at first too 🤣.) I met John this week and totally agree with @MikeBiDude. Fully ready for judgment on this but I keep a spreadsheet of masseurs I’ve seen. I’ve established a rubric for scoring them and the top two scorers are my regulars. When I try someone new and they score high on their initial session, I slot them in and hire them a couple more time for consistency. If they consistently deliver at that the high score, they replace whichever of the top two may have been lower than their score.
not to say I discard the lower scoring therapists. I just don’t hire them unless my top two are busy/out of town, etc.
