Like I said, they probably mixed up their clients, as I am taking the client/commenter's explanation here at face value, but that doesn't make them scammers as some suggest they could be. But if you leave cash, odds are, if they don't see it, they'll be informing you of that before you get to the car. Unfortunately, Paypal puts the providers at risk as a bad client can reverse their payment once they're gone, and leave the provider totally screwed. They can duke it out via Paypal but obviously if details of the service aren't in concert with Paypal's terms, it gets murky and perhaps more costly. There are scamming providers out there, but usually, thanks to a site like this, word of mouth spreads quickly about their lack of character. Given Froy & Gabrielsp have been around for some time, and have almost entirely stellar feedback, I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt as far as any scamming accusation is concerned. There are bad clients too, and as I saw another provider shortly after this happened to him, I saw the hurt he felt that he was used like that, which, I suspect, felt worse than the loss of income for one session.

I still have not seen Froy or his partner Gabrielsp, though I hope to one day. I have no idea whether they're good guys or not, but they have so many great reviews... it seems they really work hard to provide their clients with a top-end massage as hoped for. My point of view is informed because another provider, whom I'm friendly with, had this done to him... the client paid him via Paypal, and then once he left, filed a chargeback, leaving the provider with nothing. What is the provider to do? They feel totally powerless, and worse than the loss of income is the disrespect and feeling of being used and made to feel worthless. I can understand how in such a position, the provider writes a note like Froy did, trying to maintain some perception of power in the situation. Let's be honest: They're not going to small claims court given too many questions could likely be asked about the services, etc., but they were taken advantage of and made to feel small, and so they responded in the heat of the situation as best as they could. I'm assuming, based on the recipient's response here, that they mistook which client used the Paypal, so that's on them. But I don't see this as an extortion effort, and if they were the type, they'd have many more negative comments here and on Rentmasseur from others who would find them to be shady characters. I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt, outside of getting their clients mixed up. That said, I always pay cash.....

You did nothing wrong. Fair pricing is fair pricing, not "cheap ass," which, by definition, isn't fair. Some providers will quote one price and then give you another or upcharge you once there. That isn't fair. Of course, treating with care and consideration honest providers who work hard goes without saying, and generous tipping when earned is fair too!

This is so sad to read. I actually had some correspondences with Jamie in 2023, where he told me stuff about his life (recent divorce, fear of losing his children, how he had to give up a good production job he had for many years in order to move to another state and stay nearer his kids)... I even sent him a bit of help, figuring it was worth the gamble in case it might help a guy whose life seemed to be falling apart, knowing that maybe I was being played (though I don't think so... he even sent me a photocopy of his driver's license to prove it was him.... he seemed so desperate but sad at that time... told me he was on RM but didn't want to be... and shared some personal stuff about his family.).... God knows, I enjoyed his porn a whole lot, so the gamble, in the hopes of doing good for him, seemed the least I could do given his situation.... He was so grateful, sent me the nicest note afterwards... never asked for anything again.... I always wondered what had happened since, so it's really tragic to learn that things got only worse and that he really fell off the deep end. On one of the legacy sites, his family posted numerous pictures of his life, as well as from the celebration of his life; so sad to see the whole span of pictures, from bright smiling kid to handsome young man to a smiling worker at the production place to dad of three beautiful kids... while knowing how things ended. Hope he R.I.P.
