    trouble reading the new format

    The printing of postings in the new format of the message center comes across on my PC in a very light blue on white background and is almost impossible to read. Is there a way that I can make the printing come across in a dark color like black or dark blue?

    I am probably the only person on the message forum who does not really understand the meaning

    of these terms. I am just an old guy not up to date on some things.

    Some escorts advertise that they are on PrEP and PNP friendly. Some clients say they would not hire them because of this. What do they mean exactly ?

    I am glad my parents had me circumcised when I was born. I know a few older guys who are having to have it done now for health reasons. Not a pleasant experience.

    I am a much older adult and just had it done for health reasons. Wish I had it done years ago. Looks better, feels better. The procedure did not hurt afterwards like I had imagined it would.

    These calls are happening more and more. My caller id will not have person or company indicated, only

    a number. If I answer it is usually a recording. If I call back the number that was displayed it will usually

    get a recording that the number is not a working number. I even have received a call that the person

    calling was MY name and My number and was calling me. How are they doing all this? If it is not

    a number or name I know or a call i am expecting I just do not answer anymore.

    I feel sure most of us regret having missed an opportunity and wish we could somehow go back and

    and act upon it for a different outcome.

    When I was about 25 and in graduate school on an assistant ship, teaching 2 classes and taking 3 I lived

    in a dorm with mostly underclassmen. I almost always studied in the room with the door to the hall open

    I never did any of that, but I did wear 29-32 501s and they were very tight. When I put a freshly washed pair on, walking was difficult until they relaxed a little.     Bashful there are a number of different medial methods to deal with an enlarged non malignant prostrate other than traditional surgery. I'm curious exactly what type of surgery your doctor is suggesting. You might want to do a google search regarding this matter.

    Years ago I visited a friend who lived in NYC and went to an afternoon performance of Cat On a Hot Tin Roof

    Yes, as with any big city bar scene, you have to be very careful in certain bars at certain times of the day. Reasonable adults know common sense precautions to take and what to avoid if possible (including the well-known caveat of not drinking a drink that you don't see poured) But to me New Orleans would not be New Orleans without some of the seedy stuff. And if you're into straight trade (some say "rough trade"), nola has a few bars that are some of the easiest places to find an increasingly rare species: straight guys with nice bodies, nice you name it who are willing to be your date and likely more. But of course you have to endure some fairly rough scenes and be vigilant about opportunistic hangers on.

    What would be some of the "rough trade" bars? I like the straight nice body guys but never see them in gay bars.

    Thanks for reminding me of "The Devil in the White City". I started to read it many years ago. Barely got past a few chapters when I was called out of town for work, which turned into four plus years of traveling. It's been sitting on my bookshelf ever since. This thread has inspired me to pull it off the shelf. Thank you. Of the more prolific authors, in my younger days, I loved to read Steven King. John Grisham was occasionally a hit, but mostly a miss for me. Read "The Firm" before it became a movie. I enjoyed it, and if I remember right, the ending is different (and I liked better) than the movie. Currently reading "The Guilty" by David Baldacci, and it's holding my attention very well. When not knowing what to read next, I gravitate to biographies, mostly of famous people during the last century.

    I agree that John Grisham is hit or miss reading but quick reading and interesting most of the time.

    I have really enjoyed All The Light we Cannot See and one of my favorite is The Signature of All Things (I have read it twice).

    Also Greg Iles books are great, especially Natchez Burning and The Bone Tree which should be read in that order.

    I don't know when first had a queer moment and recognised it as such, although in retrospect there were a few. I bought those body-building magazines but never for a moment associated what I saw with any form of sexual attraction, and generally managed the same dissociation between thinking about men's bodies and sexual attraction.
