watched it a few days ago.....I'm no expert on movie criticism and evaluation, but it was fairly fun to watch....black-and-white production seemed just a bit too forced in an effort to give it the 1930s feel......rapid-fire scenes and plot with lots of Hollywood insider jokes and stories....... ten Oscar nominations, more than any other this year......

well........aside from all that, there's this little get-together I heard about somewhere around here going on April 10-11 in Palm Spgs.......

though "provider" has a bit of a medical insurance/primary doctor vibe to it, I much prefer it to the wink-wink-nudge-nudge connotation that "escort" carries.....

@KrisParr @sam.fitzpatrick thanks for the mention of the Indiana Dunes, the US's newest National Park!.....really nice.....took the South Shore Line train from downtown Chicago three or four years ago to a stop convenient to the dunes and walked over and around all over the area.....perfect day and, wow, Lake Michigan is an ocean!.....nice sand, pleasant breeze, and the view of the famous Chicago skyline from 40 or so miles away.......(just ignore that ugly power plant over there down the shore a bit!)

did he have you leave after eleven minutes?!.......were you working on him so well that it happened?.......why do you think this happened at all?...... just trying to get more details about what precipitated this discouraging turn of events....thanks

Arizona: overrated: Sedona - traffic-clogged Disneyland-like spectacle.... not really a town, but just a series of boutiques, timeshares, realtor offices, and restaurants....yeah, there's the nice scenery thing, but similar views are available throughout the southwest without the noise/people/cars/rules/gift shops underrated: Barry Goldwater bombing range - miles and miles of wide-open pristine Sonoran desert landscape, no noise or people at all (usually), big country views under a blanket of a million stars amid the fantastic dry and warm air....4WD and permit required!
