in Latin America, I only have experience in CDMX and RJ.....yes, cheaper the one guy I met with in CDMX was about US$150/hr and was great....did all I wanted and was worry-free.....masculine and in great shape......he was one of the entertainers at one of the strip clubs on Amberes and didn't speak a word of English - we chatted after his set and he came by the next morning.....admittedly, I could've/should've haggled??, but didn't feel the need.....a buddy I was with spoke Spanish for pre-meet planning plus I had Google Translate Brazil is even cheaper, especially with the strong dollar currently.....best way there is to go to one of the legal brothels (saunas), chat up a dude who appeals, have a private there in the club, then, if you still click, ask if he'll meet privately (you may have trouble getting a local into a conventional hotel, so many here recommend you have an airbnb when in RJ or SP)......figure maybe US$30-80/hr in Brazil..... expect a "US citizen/foreigner" premium......as always, be respectful and friendly.....smile, don't be creepy, trust your gut, be safe.......
