While it may be bad for escorting, I still need to make a living so as an escort I will continue escorting. Yes my health is at risk but I feel as an escort my health is always at a certain amount of risk. No one says an escorts job is easy, but taking the proper precautions do help.

Will it affect escorting? I dunno. Maybe older monied guys who are already respiratory-compromised will be more cautious.
People, markets, governments, hate unknowns. Hence the market reaction. Travel bans. Conferences and trade shows are geing cancelled. These factors will likely affect trade. Guys from smaller markets who hire when traveling will be challenged. Uncertainty in the digital age may dampen interests and urges.
 
Libido is a fairly strong driving force, so I wouldn't anticipate a major reduction in demand.

The precautions of hand washing, not touching your face and eyes are prudent. A young, healthy escort, or client, probably has little to fear beyond flu and respiratory illness.

First it's important that the client and escort communicate about any potential issues before the appointment. With that said it's my job as an escort to make sure the client enjoys his time. If he wants to top me then making that happen is important. I have had customers that are really big and the way I handle it is 1)lots of lube, 2)control the situation and by that I mean if there is an easier way for me to bottom for someone bigger then I'll let them know the position (typically I like missionary so I he or I can stroke some while he is inside me). If anything is hurting or he is going to fast I will communicate and make sure he is aware. Some guys go in to fast and taking it slow is key with bigger guys.

To add to what I said earlier when I go to see I customer I won't initiate any contact or getting undressed. This is to protect myself just in case the customer is in fact with law enforcement. If they want to see me naked or kiss me they have to make the first move and communicate.
