I'm not sure if this is in the right place. Feel free to move it. Are there any MUST DO things in NYC for Pride weekend? Of course, the parade. But what other hidden events or odd doings happen that the average folks in our community living outside the city might not know about?

I hired him in 2008 or 2009; he was 30 then, too, and I agree he was full of himself to a nauseating level, in my opinion.

I don't let them scan my ID/DL either. I recall when, in Las Vegas, the local news reported how paper documents, medical history, and personal information like SSN and DL were flying all over the streets from a doc who was closing up shop. With all this stuff digitized, who knows what entities will have it from the doctor, medical healthsystems, third party billing and claims people, insurance carriers, and god knows who else... all at risk from hostile entities.

I recall his name, but for the life of me, I cannot recall what he looked like.

I tried several times but never any success.

I've been in the food service industry for a long time, and I usually enjoy the messy, unstructured exploration of a city. However, about three years ago, while visiting Providence—home to Johnson & Wales (my alma mater)—I took a food tour and had an incredible experience. It introduced me to amazing spots that weren’t even on my radar. Since I often travel solo, I find these tours to be a great balance of interaction with strangers while letting someone else handle the planning. I'll check out Secret Food Tours! 😁

I was in Vegas recently and purchased a few shirts at Robert Graham and shorts at G-Star, using Google Wallet to pay. Today, I noticed a charge for ECCO—a store I’ve never shopped at. I initially thought my Google Wallet might have paid someone else’s tab, but after checking the mall layout, I saw ECCO was on the other side of the property, making that unlikely. Could this be a case of miscoded business names within a retailer’s credit card processing system? I’m genuinely baffled and figured someone here might have insight into this.

If I understand correctly, that is F'd up. So a provider pays a fee. The site then ***** without any notice to the paying provider, and has to find out later down the road? The site should at least give a warning. Even Grindr, as messed up as that platform is, warns you that you can't say sugar or post specific icons in your profile.
