I tried to meet him in NYC back in December 2023. He is traveling now, and I tried to book. Same rate as many suggested early on in this topic. However, now he wanted a 1/3 deposit. Wanted it via an app. I don't do apps, and with all the RED FLAG stories on here over the years, I'm not into deposits. He honestly suggests I swing by the day before to give him a deposit. I was hesitant and disengaged.

30% shit... 💩 I remember busting my @$$ off for guests in a luxury hotel chain and some guests would not time a dime... cultural differences. 30 years later, my cigar shop wants me to tip the cashier to supplement their crappy pay philosophy. I do to support the poor guy at the counter, but begrudgingly.

I tried to hire from the RM site multiple times. We never met. I asked for a brief call, and he couldn't. Then, he gave me a hard time when I called him out on it, and he told me to find someone else. 💩💩

I met him a few years ago, too. Decent time and wanted to repeat. However, I find him more flakey now and non-responsive these days. In fact, we were to meet in my town today, and now he is not even in my state anymore and won't confirm that we will meet up. Kinda shitty.

There seems to be plenty of interest, but very little actual follow-through from him. I’ve attempted to connect several times over the past year. I typically prefer a quick phone call for clarity—especially since it's challenging for me to see—but he declined, citing poor English as the reason. After repeated unsuccessful attempts, I’ve decided to stop trying to meet up.
