I'm with both you guys. I love to fantasize about what could have happened had I been less obtuse or bolder. When I was 22, I had a fender bender (my first) and when the cop came to the scene, he put me and the driver I hit in the back seat of his cruiser. He gave us forms and had us fill out our information. When we gave them to him, he looked them over and gave us each the other's information after jotting something down. He told the other guy he could go. As he got out of the car, I reached to get out also and he told me to wait. He then pointed out that, on the form given to me, he had jotted down his home phone number (way before we had cell phones) and said that if I needed anything at all, help getting my car fixed, whatever, I should call him. I assumed that was normal and went on my merry, obtuse way missing out, me thinks, on a hot police man fantasy!
