  1. On the QM2, Deck 7 has the buffet, lounges and Grills restaurants. You can also do laps around the entire Deck outside. 3 laps = ~1 mile. If you are in a cabin on Deck 6 you might hear noise from above. Years ago I had a cabin on Deck 11... as it turns out under the ping pong table on Deck 12. Some over served people were playing ping pong at midnight. I could hear them. Security kindly asked them to stop and it was fine for the rest of the week.
  2. I highly recommend. I have done a number of eastbound crossings… NYC to SOU and will do my first westbound next May. Have made some great friends. The ship is going in for a quick, light refurbishment this fall. When you book, make sure you only have cabins above you. I was on an incredibly rough January crossing a number of years ago. What a blast! There is an LGB cocktail party every late afternoon. They only have two black tie gala nights now… they used to have three. The rest are smart attire. I book through Cunard and use them for my return airfare. They offer some great business class airfares out of London and Paris. The Grill Suites have their own restaurants, but it’s not that obvious. The different classes are not very evident. Treat yourself to a Verandah restaurant evening. Best bar… the Commodore Club. If you are leaving from NYC, make sure you are on deck 14 for the sail away. It’s fun going under the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. Don’t know what I would have done if I found myself onboard with Benjamin Nicholas.
  3. On the rare occasion, I meet an unknown provider, i.e., someone not known to this board, I will casually work into the conversation at the beginning that a friend dropped me off and is picking me up after our session.
  4. 500 x 100 = 50,000? Yikes!
  5. He’s now in Dallas
  6. Any recommendations. Need to get ready for PV!
  7. I thought this forum has a no "war" policy 😀
  8. Looks like they are headed out to Fire Island in the late 80s
  9. I'll rent her a room at The Paramount in NYC... once she gets in, she'll never get out (I assume the rooms are same size as they were 30 years ago)
  10. I don't like Matt Walsh either, but I find more and more of what he says makes sense.... and that worries me 😂
  11. My experience is limited to the Queen Mary 2 for transatlantic crossings and one Ritz Carlton cruise in the Caribbean. I completed an Atlas Ocean Voyages cruise in the Mediterranean last spring and will be on another Atlas Ocean "cruise" in the Antarctic in January (not sure about the Polar Plunge!) Ritz Carlton and Atlas are very similar. New ships, less than 200 passengers. Beautiful interiors, very luxurious and very good restaurants. The QM2 is a fun way to cross the Atlantic. But it is a BIG ship and a bit dated. Have made some great friends over the years. The LGBTQIA+ cocktail parties are interesting (they used to call them Friends of Dorothy, but per the current climate that became politically incorrect.)
  12. Interesting it received a standing ovation. London audiences are much more stingy than American ones when it comes to standing and curtain calls.
  13. When I hire, I only pay for our time together and good conversation, what ever else happens is between two consenting adults and isn't guaranteed 😀
  14. I wonder what Spielberg thinks of all of this? He is one of the producers.
  15. Only an issue The Guardian could promote.
  16. My credit card company has given me a conditional credit. They have a number of questions. I'm not holding out hope.
  17. Curious if any members got fucked… and not in a good way… by the Mitchell Gold bankruptcy.
  18. Jake Tanner
  19. Successfully resisted the urge to get political. Phew!
  20. Wonderful linens. The Saudi Royalty put on new Frette everyday and throw away the used ones. I wouldn’t fuck on them This has got to be one of the most off topic threads in the history of this site! 😂
  21. I was on RC’s Evrima last spring in the Caribbean. Beautiful ship, excellent staff… but port selection was awful… a whole day wasted in Nassau… no swimming off the stern and slight sewage smell on the top outdoor deck. I think they were working out the kinks. Would repeat. Followed that by an Atlas Ocean Voyages cruise in the Mediterranean. Sailing on Atlas again in January, this time in the Antarctic.
  22. Not only do they damage your home's plumbing, they are incredibly expensive for waste treatment facilities to deal with.
