I'm surprised you made it past the trailer 😀. What awful writing and acting (solely based on the trailer.) Obviously a "vanity" film, made to start actors', directors', and writers' careers. Perhaps my subconscious detected Canadian accents, but about halfway through the trailer I said this must be a Canadian film... and per IMDB I was right.

What is the other ad? All I can find is the rentmasseur ad I posted above. Apparently there was a rentmen ad at one time, but it is defunct. The masseurfinder ad (44709) in the embedded topic doesn't work for me. The latinodesire ad is not the same guy. The latino desire guy has no tattoos on his shoulders and he has a different phone number.

Why is he always yelling?

When I came out in the 80s, gay bars were the place you went to meet other gay men. There was always a lot of flirting going on. Occasionally there would be some "innocent" groping. If you liked the guy, you would smile, grope back and talk. If you didn't like the guy, you would smile and let him know you weren't interested. No one felt violated. If he persisted, then you would respond with a more emphatic no. Usually it would end there.

I think Hannah Einbinder is way over-rated and for me, along with Megan Stalter, makes Hacks unwatchable. IMHO Einbinder she did not deserve her win for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy.

Hard to imagine they would be able to film at the George V in Paris. There’s no off-season for that property.
