  2. It’s also where a very young cellist and chorus master was called upon to fill in for a suddenly fired conductor first giving us Toscanini.

  6. There may still be a plaque near the railing around what was the historic operating theater attached to Roosevelt Hospital at the corner of 59th and Columbus citing the Zimmermann family as donors of that railing. St Michael's Church at 99th and Amsterdam has extensive Tiffany appointments. If memory serves, the mosaic behind the chapel altar was given by the Zimmermanns. They were her folk. There's a story, probably legend, that some of her Jewish colleagues, not realizing she wasn't of the tribe, invited her to a Passover Seder. Not liking what was serves she supposedly reached into her purse, pulled out a ham sandwich and started to eat.

  13. And how many boxes would that be pray tell?
  14. A number of us Gaiety alum met and became regulars at Club 20. We'd often meet beforehand for supper at the Olive Garden at 22nd and Sixth and watch the dancers pass by in the windows on their way to "work". Then we'd rush to get to the club before the $10 door charge went into effect at 7 pm. We'd sit in a semicircle along the right side of the auditorium outside the restroom and critique the stage performance of the dancers and some of the lap dances happening behind us. We'd also comment on our tastes in lapdancers and reminisce about the Gaiety of blessed memory. That's where I first met Tim Adonis founder of the Adonis empire. He was doing seated massages for $10 a pop I think. Those were the day eh @Cooper?
  15. So round, so firm, so fully packed.
  16. I see guys at the gym sucking on these earphone cords all the time. My next big invention will be flavored earphone cords: cinnamon, clove, vanilla, [sweat]. I’ll make a fortune.

  18. In episode 6 of Hulu’s new series p about Catherine The Great, the Emperor Peter (played by Nicholas Hoult) saunters leisurely down a very long gallery to the admiring stares and amazement of his loyal subjects. He’s stark naked. Now THAT’s flamboyant. FWIW there’s no frontal nudity but Hoult sure has a very fine ass.
  19. Nice ass. But lousy choice of colors.
  20. WOW!! A Lionel Ritchie fan club tee shirt.
  21. Imagine what the “Treat” version looks like.
