  1. Wish he’d get back to Texas!!
  2. You’ve clearly OD’d on too many episodes of The Sopranos. So have I. BTW with PornHubpremium.com you get a better selection. Or so I’m told. Bringing them to Palm Springs is a great idea but I failed to make a reservation. Besides I’d have to bring an extra bag to lug them and it wouldn’t fit in the overhead compartment. What to do! What to do!!
  3. Come on Ben!! You know South Texas better than that. What closeted macho Latino south of Cortulla will walk up to a table at a public flea market and buy gay porn? And even if they did it would unlikely be worth my while to sit out in the hot sun all those hours to man such a table for the few pesos I’d get.
  4. Moving to a country where boys are plentiful but porn is prohibited.
  5. I've a collection of porn DVD's left over from my addiction to porn years ago. There's maybe 50 items. I severally culled the collection once before moving it here. Now I just want to get rid of it. I'm too lazy and ignorant of e-bay and its like and suspect they've little value anyway. I guess I can shred the disks but disposing of the boxes is more problematic here in south Texas. Any suggestions? Thanks
  6. If you’re not or cannot remove your shoes get a pair of Toms. They’re lite as a feather. FWIW I always carry a boat bag to a doctor’s appointment. The wait can be long even with an appointment. I take along a book, maybe a magazine or newspaper and sometimes my iPad. I’ll hide my wallet, keys, change and cellphone there too while hopping the scale.
  7. That may be why Grindr now offers and alternative icon for its app with PIN access.
  8. FWIW he was listed on BackPages in San Antonio this week.
  9. Sorry Handsome. I am to stripping what you are to singing. Lol
  10. I give voice lessons. Perhaps we should barter services. Perhaps a barbershop trio to monetize your singing: you me and Tristan (or a quartet if we can whipped guy to sing lead).
  11. There was Drakes, a basement bar in Prague, perhaps owned by William Higgins, where some of his boys worked. There were several rooms in the sub basement where they “entertained”. Some rooms had a fetish theme as I remember. The room I was in was just big enough for a full bed and shower and was quite clean. This was maybe 2001.
  12. As Whipped Guy suggests, I have indeed been around the block as much but perhaps not as often as some posting in this thread. And for the record I did in fact start my musical career as a choirboy at least more angelic than I currently am. And I would note that it was this lapsed choirboy who first posed the fantasy of engaging Tristan and PeterHung together. [still swooning]
  13. Just to be clear, G56whiz had nothing to do with the above post. Lol
  14. The people in LA who would patronize a Townhouse have all migrated to Palm Springs.
  15. Interestingly Craigslist is functioning as normal outside the US (at least in my other stomping grounds - Kuala Lumpur). Cracker, KL’s Version of BackPage is not.
  16. WOW!! The WslMart of escorts.
  17. I’m a WASP of “that certain age” whose standard dress is my business casual drag. So imagine my shock when I was turned away at the Townhouse door simply because I was wearing a baseball cap (bill to front mind you!). And all I really wanted was a copy of the bar rag from the stack right behind the goon who denied me entrance.
  18. Come on!! You’ve time for both: if you hire them simultaneously!! Be still my libido!!!
  19. The St. John’s much more so than the St. Matthew.
  20. I met him at an Adonis nude party in NYC. Super nice and friendly guy. And generous with his time to discuss training. BUT STRAIGHT!! In the end a lap dance from him would have been as awkward as lap dancing with your training partner so I passed.
  21. I'm non medicating diabetic. I'm monitoring thru calorie (carb) intake all day thru 4 to six meals. There's no way I could do a meaningful cardio workout in the morning on an empty stomach. I HAVE to have my coffee and a small oatmeal before the gym. Then I do 15 minutes on a recumbent bike not only to awaken the metabolism but to also to loosen up injured knee then another 20+ minutes on a high intensity interval trainer. Then I consider what Starbucks has to offer.
  22. DAMN!! There goes my fantasy of a three (or four) way with @tristanbaldwin, XanderCage or/and StrongPower!! But then again Tristan alone would be a fantasy fulfilled. But doesn't @peterhung85 also hang out in Las Vegas? (Be still my libido!) In all seriousness, I wish you and your family the best. I sort of know what you're going thru. I grew up in the Pioneer Valley just north of you. I also dealt with aging parents and the commuting to meet their needs. Mine chose Florida which was a mistake since Florida medicine is an oxymoron. You and your dad should do well in Las Vegas (which isn't that far from Texas!).
  23. Today is Bach's 333rd birthday. Although the closest he may have gotten to writing an opera is his Kaffee Kantate (BWV211), it's worth commemorating here. To do so appropriately I think you should perform a piece of Bach's music. If you can't do that, since he sired some 21 children, you may consider an aggressive session twix the sheets to be appropriate. I intend to do both.
  24. More likely trust funds with lazy executors. Lol
  25. They make a lot of sense. The NYTimes piece points out that Levine made the Met Orchestra into one of the finest in the world. Those of us who were around the Met in the early ‘70’s know what an enormous feat this was and is. Back then there were nights under other conductors when it seemed the members tuned their instruments at home. And what the horn section did to Karl Böhm one evening was more than unmusical or unprofessional: it was pure evil and insulting to the audience. Levine over a short period changed all that. He did it by insisting on musical integrity and hiring according. Two seasons ago, I was fascinated to watch Levine as he conducted the overture to what was probably his last Live in HD broadcast. There was really no discernible beat to his gestures but it didn’t seem to matter. The shared musicality over so many years was so strong that you could see that the instrumentalists were even breathing with him. It was pure magic. And that’s the problem. Even if Levine’s disease were to progress no further, the orchestra has to change as personnel change. That magic is simply not sustainable over the long term. And that’s why I suspect Peter Gelb was in fact trying to push Levine aside. It appears that Levine’s hubris stood in the way. Gelb’s may be at fault too. The real tragedy is that Levine has enormous amount to offer The Met or any other musical organization albeit not on the podium. There’s probably a whole new generation of singers and conductors who will lose access to his musical genius. As for me, I’m still trying to reconcile my guilt at my awareness of what may have been occurring behind the scenes with my memories of the many magical nights I’ve spent in the Dress Circle Boxes.
