I can’t speak to Mack Mahoney’s skills, as we’ve never met. But I contacted him a few weeks ago and he quoted me $400/hour which is at the higher end of the market. Everyone has made excellent points on this thread. I tend to fall in the middle when it comes to those providers who advertise as masseurs and do so clearly in their ads placed on massage-only sites like rentmasseur or masseurfinder, as opposed to escort-geared sites like rentmen or friendboy. In those cases where the session has escalated into escort territory, I’ve paid what I feel is the prevailing escort rate in the form of a higher than usual tip. I think it’s somewhat different for those masseurs whose ads on massage sites go to great lengths to convey that their regular service includes particular sexual acts. Such as when they use certain buzzwords for those acts just to avoid the website’s automatic filter, and then their private photos show them engaged in those acts. If you read their reviews on the site, you can see that many of their clients do the same thing where they use certain buzzwords to convey that this provider simply offers sex as a routine part of his service. To me, this all says that these acts aren’t offered as an upsell or as a not-so-subtle manipulation into getting paid as an escort under the guise of an expected “tip.” I’ve been told by one of my regular escorts that maintaining a provider ad/profile on rentmen is significantly more expensive than on rentmasseur. So, if these providers choose to offer a service that combines elements of massage & sex at a price that’s below the prevailing market rate for escorts (but, in fairness tends to be slightly above the prevailing massage rates too), then that’s their specific business model. I don’t think a client is taking advantage of them or is paying them inequitably by paying them their rate without a huge tip. Just my two cents on the matter

But assuming that the site really thought that the hacker was him and that he voluntarily deleted his profile, why would it prevent him from creating a new one even if it recognizes the old contact info? Hello gents, One of my regular escorts told me that his rentmen profile got hacked and deleted, and now he can’t get it back, or even create a new profile/account. He says he’s emailed RM support many times over the past few weeks but hasn’t gotten a response yet. Has anyone else ever heard of this? Not the getting hacked part, as that’s kind of commonplace nowadays. But the inability to create a new profile or get any help from customer support? When I’ve had issues, with payment for example, or even to complain about a provider who’d scammed me, they responded relatively promptly, even if I didn’t always get the ultimate desired resolution. Maybe it’s different on the client side? I’ve no idea. I told my guy I’d ask here for advice. I’d guess that this happened because you probably have certain settings enabled in your social media apps on your phone. I think that they default to regularly perusing your own phone contacts for potential friends. So, once you save a provider’s number and/or email to your phone, when the apps (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) do their regular behind the scenes work, if the provider used the same contact info when he signed up, the app will suggest him as someone you might know or wish to follow. If you’ve only used a burner number (or apps like Google Voice, Text Now, etc.) to contact providers, then so long as you’ve never linked that number to your own social media profiles, you shouldn’t pop up on the providers’ social media apps as a potential friend/contact. I first saw this happening like a decade ago, which is what prompted me to switch to using apps with different phone numbers when I partake in this hobby. I also let some of my regulars know when they popped up in my social media apps, so they could either get new business numbers/email addresses, or de-link those from their social media profiles. Each time I mentioned it, they were very grateful and didn’t think of me as some weird stalker. More folks are aware of this now, so there’s a chance that this guy already knows and doesn’t mind. Maybe he has a “brand,” so he likes getting as much exposure as possible across all platforms? Either way, since you use an alternate number and email, I’d think that you’re not at risk of inadvertent disclosure in this manner.
