Thanks for the explanation. Makes sense. When you refer to the term “debt”, are you referring to “total charges”, or “debt, as in balance”? My average annual charges are between $30,000-$32,000 a year. I use my rewards card for almost everything. My credit limit is $35,000. Monthly balance I have been leaving about $1000 a month?

I saw him earlier this year. He has a lean, tight body but his massage was B- at best. Too light of touch, felt like an oil bath. There are guys better trained.

I was hoping there was a workaround to qualify if you earn more than the maximum allowed. I’m not finding anything so it looks like I’m out of luck for now.

I would consider myself an introvert, if not shy. I prefer small groups over large groups which makes it difficult in some gay settings. On the other hand, in straight environments, I am completely more comfortable and engaging. If I’m with gay friends in a gay environment, I am much more comfortable. I think this started at a young age when I felt some gays were either too over the top, or intimidating by their looks/physique. I’m sure I missed a lot of opportunities being an introvert as I look back. But I have also been able to observe people and find some solid quality friends. I don’t think this answered any of your questions…it has allowed me to reflect if I would have done anything differently.

I’ve been participating in my company sponsored 401k program for 35 years but curious to know if I’m able to open a Roth IRA account as well? I know there are contribution limits to retirement accounts but considering that it’s post-tax, do the same guidelines apply? Not a financial expert by any means, but just curious on ways to save more. I’ve got a good nest egg with my 401K but know it will be taxed upon withdrawal. I’ve got a lot of money invested in stocks and bonds as well.

I’ve always left a small balance on the one credit card that I use for everything besides my debit card. I’m not sure where I heard this info, but was under the impression that having zero balances on credit cards could affect your credit score? It never made sense to me, but for some reason went along with it. I’m not a financial expert by any means but if I’m believing misinformation, please let me know! 🙏. Otherwise, I have no credit card debt other than less than $1,000 intentional balance.

Earlier today, I saw a postal worker walk across a residential lawn that clearly had a cement walkway to the door. I thought that was kind of odd and lazy.

We had the same reminders about not calling our fraternity a frat…. Everytime I hear that word in public, it makes me cringe a bit. I had to teach that to my sister…and tell all her Alpha Phi sisters not to use the word frat.

SAE on my campus were definitely the rowdy jock bunch. Each house had sort of a reputation. Sigma Chi’s were the ones who everyone thought had closeted guys in their house.

Found this older thread. Being in a fraternity during my college years was one of the best experiences of my life. It’s hard to believe I was initiated almost 41 years ago - time flies and I wish I would have stayed active locally/nationally as an alumni. Trying to encourage my nephew to rush this coming semester. Proud Kappa Sigma here.
