Not only could I, but I did when I was in graduate school. It was a different dynamic back then, small text-only ad in the local gay paper, a pager, and spending some free time at the corner of Homer & Davie. I was good, but not great, with a few regulars. Interesting timing, last week I met up with a guy I'd seen well over a dozen times and he just couldn't perform in any capacity.
