The season finally came to an end last night. Finally. It was very anticlimatic. Makensy won the very last HoH and chose Chelsie to go to the final two with her (big mistake). I could have written the OP myself. I started hiring in the late 90s / early 2000s, when there seemed to be an embarrassment of riches - the hottest, experienced guys of all ages, providing a good massage with fun added in, for a fair rate. So here's my problem over the past few months I hope someone can help me with... Last November I finally 'cut the cord' and became more financially responsible - going with internet service, and YouTubeTV (of all the streamers, they seemed to have the best selection / value for me). In the end, I'm saving about $75 a month from traditional cable, which makes me happy. I was very happy that YTTV offered DVR service, and any show you DVR'd would be saved for nearly a year (I think 10 months?) in "your library". I prefer DVRing every show I'm interested in, rather than watch live, so that way I can FF through the commercials. Over the past few months, I've noticed an increasing amount of shows I record don't always show up in my library after recording. That's OK - they show up within a day or so. I go to hit 'play' and instead of DVR, the episode I've recorded comes up as Video On Demand, instead. No other option is available to me. So I'm back to sitting through the endless commercials included with VoD. I know if I add any show to my 'library list' that hasn't aired yet may come up as VoD (if it's already available that way), but this is not the case with what I've been experiencing. The most recent issue I've been having is with the FX series on Aaron Hernandez, which airs every Tuesday night at 10 pm EST. (I set my DVR for this series a week before it was to begin - every Tuesday night it says it's recording, but the next day when it's available, my only option is VoD.) Anyone else having this problem ? Any solutions available? Am I doing something wrong ? Thanks guys !!

Hey everyone, I recently leased a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek, and its my first time without a CD player in the car. I saw on Amazon they do sell portable CD players that you can plug into your car and play your CDs (so I'm not the only one who misses playing CDs in the car). Any suggestions on which ones are better / best ? They range in price from $25 and up - $50- 60 seems the average. Any recommendations ?

I've been watching this series from Ryan Murphy (he's been pretty busy with three of his projects debuting in the past few weeks), available on FX (plus FX 'VoD'), Disney+, and Hulu. It's not bad, as it tells the story of the once-promising Patriots football sensation from the 2010s who went down in history as a murderer. Hernandez was said to be gay by many of his friends and family, and this series doesn't back away (starting with a gay romance he had in high school). He was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of sarcoma ten weeks ago, and was on home hospice for the past few weeks - so I (personally) wouldn't call it 'sudden'. It is shocking and surprising, as he had kept it private, and told no one outside his immediate circle (and they kept it quiet as well). It's not uncommon to go quickly with this horrible cancer. That said, I was lucky enough to see him three times between 2017 -19; twice in 'Hello Dolly' where he was an incredible performer (once opposite Donna Murphy in 2017, then opposite Bernadette Peters in 2018). I became such a fan of his work, I went to see him in the musical 'Waitress!' in 2019, which has turned out to be my last trip to NYC / Broadway (as I never returned since the pandemic). He was one of those actors filled with a contagious case of enthusiasm and energy on stage. The audience knew he just loved to be up on the stage singing, dancing and making the house laugh. He was a true performer - and definitely deserved his Tony. Broadway lost a great one at such a young age.

It's been announced Donna Summer's "Greatest Hits - On The Radio - Vols 1 & 2' has been redone into an 'expanded' edition and will be released in mid-November. However, it seems the only thing similar to the 1979 release is the title and the artwork. The tracks are all the 7" radio edits, and they will not segue into each other like the original so artistically did. The second LP will include most of her radio singles AFTER she left Casablanca at the end of 1979. There will be different releases on both vinyl and CD. For example, there will be your choice of color vinyl in Europe, or the traditional black vinyl (the colored vinyl is purple / pink limited edition and at a hefty price). In the US, there is talk about the double CDs being available in black and gold as a limited edition - as well as the traditional double CD. This is all subject to change. Overall, fans are not happy with this release - no one wants another 'hits' compilation. There's plenty of music 'vaulted' still, and a release of that will be a welcome change.

I thought it was very entertaining - though it kind of rushed through the courtroom scenes. I was very impressed with both actors. I'm now watching Chavez in 'Grotesquerie' on FX - very, very interesting show.
