  1. Seems to me that a lot of commonly used words and phrases listed in this thread are truly useful. They accurately express the user's meaning and are immediately understood by the intended audience. That's a good thing, in my opinion. Example: Someone listed "going viral". This concise phrase is shorthand for a social media phenomenon for which we'd otherwise have to give a lengthy explanation. E.g., We could either say, "Bobbie's latest tweet is rapidly spreading throughout the twitter platform and the larger social media environment by being frequently shared or reposted by an extremely large number of individuals." Or we could say, "Bobbies' tweet is going viral." Please don't make me feel bad about using common, easily understood words and phrases.
  2. How about solving the problem with the hem-like thing by just flipping the top sheet, not rotating it? Hmmm.... That way the hem stays at the top of the bed where it belongs. I'm not as fastidious as your mom (I don't think so anyway) so I don't mind if the top sheet is facing up or down. There's some controversy about what side of the top sheet goes up or down anyhow. One might think the bottom stitching on the hem faces down, but then when you turn down the bed like in a fancy hotel, the stitching would be facing up! God forbid!
  3. If it's a hot summer night and I don't have the air conditioner, I might meander a bit. Otherwise I'm one of those people who occupy just one spot on the bed. I can pretty much tell because the sheets and blankets on the other half remain undisturbed. It might be habit from sharing a bed with my brother when we young. I graduated to my own bed at some point, but it was always a single until I was out of college.
  4. Will the gay village ever return to this?
  5. I was pulling the sheets from my bed this morning and it occurred to me that, rather than change sheets once a week, I could turn them around one week and then fully change them the next week. I sleep on only one side of my queen side bed and never venture over to the other side (and it's been a looooong time since I've had someone else sleeping over there). So the other side of the bed goes virtually untouched. Why not rotate (not flip) the bottom sheet so the left side become the right and the right becomes the left. That way I'm laying on the untouched half of the sheet. I probably just shake the sheet out before putting it back on the bed. I could do the same for the top sheet. Are there downsides to this approach?
  6. 11. A bar with nude male strippers that all want to have wild sex with me as soon as I walk in the door.
  7. You have a point. But my guess is that $$ was a big factor... little hands big money.
  8. There really ARE guys who are primarily attracted to woman but like to mess around with guys from time to time. You don't have to rush to judgement and assume they are gay and in denial. Not everybody conforms to nice, neat sexual orientation classifications.
  9. Was it immoral for Melania Knauss to marry Donald Trump? How about the marriage of Marla Maples to her ex-husband?
  10. Bernie walks up to a fruit stand... Bernie: "How much are the apples?" Fruit vendor: "Twenty-five cents" Bernie: "I'll take 10" Fruit vendor: "Ok, here you are. That will be $2.50" Bernie: "What? No way! You said the apples are twenty-five cents!" Fruit vendor: !?
  11. I think it's pretty clear to everyone who's been to a strip club that the price is per song. There can be disagreements between client and dancer on the number or songs, but the per song fee structure is a given. But I've run into surprises when a dancer tacks on additional charges at the end of a lap dance session because I did something "extra" during the dances and the "extra" costs more. (More accurately, he let me do something extra.) He's given me no forewarning ahead of time nor does he say anything while it's happening. The tricky part of this is that another dancer at the same club on the same day will include that particular "extra" in the per song rate with no up-charges -- often after you've done a minimum number of songs. What do you do? Pay the extra to avoid an embarrassing scene? Refuse to pay even when the dancer gets somewhat aggressive?
  12. My favorite skin tones:
  13. I don't agree with the theory that same sex attraction is based on some innate or genetic need to have children. This implies that homosexuality is a biological or genetic mistake. I think it's actually the opposite. There's a theory among sociologists (or is it psychologists?) that same sex attraction has evolved so that individuals within a species can bond without reproducing. It aids in societal cohesion without resulting in more offspring than the species can support. Just like higher brain functions and advanced motor skills, homosexuality helps the human species thrive. So my sexual attraction to other men is based on an evolutionary need to bond without reproducing, which leaves the question, why am I attracted to certain types of men? I don't know, but part of it might be my attraction to traits that I lack and wish I had (eg, more muscular arms and better pecs). But it's certainly not due to a subconscious need to have their babies (their sperm, yes... but not their babies).
  14. Oh no @Coolwave35!! You're breaking my heart. Pillsbury Toaster Strudel over Kellogg Pop Tarts!
  15. With the exception of a few old Belami type DVDs, I got rid of all non-electronic porn. Everything else is stored on a password protected, encrypted SSD card. Having an SSD card attached to my PC won't surprise anyone. I've been vocal about the need to backup computers in case of a hard drive failure or similar problem. 10 consecutive, failed password attempts automatically erases content from the SSD card. I don't care if people find the DVDs. Everyone knows I'm a single gay man and it might even seem suspicious if they found no porn at all.
  16. Don't know that I can select one of these boybands as a whole, but as individuals I'd go for JC Chasez from NSync any day. Although I was never a boyband fan, it was impossible to not recognize JC's hotness. But if I had to select a boyband for overall hotness, I'd go for the French group, 2be3. I know next to nothing about their music, but Filip Nikolic (in the middle) was beyond hotness. Filip Nikolic
  17. I subscribed taking advantage of this NYT special offer. Can't go wrong with that! I'd subscribe to both except there's no way I'd take the time to read both. I also read may home town paper every day plus a couple of other publications and online news sources. It gets to be a bit too much (for me). I agree with your comments about the NYT and Post software interface on my desktop PC. But I do a lot of online reading using my Android tablet and prefer the Post's mobile app on that device (but not enough to keep me from switching to the NYT).
  18. Thanks all for the feedback so far. The youtube from from @JayCeeKy does a great job of listing differences: Ownership: the Post, of course, is Jeff Bezos. Although the NYT is publicly traded, controlling ownership is a the Ochs-Sulzberger family. (ownership is not a deciding factor for me) Number of subscribers: NYT has twice the number of paying subscribers. (not a deciding factor for me) Number of articles per day: NYT publishes about 250 articles per day. The Post is twice that at about 500 per day. You might think this is a plus for the Post, but part of the reason for the larger number is they include a lot more opinion pieces from outside contributors. Not that I disagree with most of the opinion pieces, but it gets a bit repetitive for me. (pushing me towards the NYT) Content: The general consensus is that the Post does a slightly better job as political coverage. The NYT has more international content and therefore a more international appeal. (I'm a bit burnt out on politics these days and like the idea of a more international focus). Looks like I'll be switching to the NYT. PS. I really like the guy in the youtube video--not in a major hard-on sort of way, but he has a certain geeky quality that I find appealing. I just subscribed to his youtube channel.
  19. I've had an online subscription to the Washington Post for quite a few years. This is in addition to my midwestern home town newspaper which also leans liberal. But I'm considering cancelling the Post and subscribing to the New York Times instead. Why? I consider myself a progressive and very much agree with the Post's progressive leanings, but I wonder if reading the Post everyday puts me in a liberal echo chamber -- sort of a less extreme version of what Fox News is to ultra conservatives. To New York Times and/or Washington Post readers, what's your take on this? Have you ever compared the Times to the Post?
  20. Given or received a blowjob in a public bathroom.
  21. Although not technically "fake" they can be very inaccurate and are therefore false representation. If an escort is not using relatively recent photos it probably means that his current appearance is not appealing enough to attract clients.
  22. This is pure speculation on my part, but I suspect there are escorts who will rim some clients but not others. To illustrate my point, you might find lots of escorts willing to rim the first ass shown below but no escorts willing to rim the second one.
  23. As much as you like him and want to continue seeing him as an escort, you are putting your own reputation at the company at risk. What happens when he decides to confide in one of his new coworkers how he got the job referral and his prior relationship with you? He may think that his coworker will keep the secret, but secrets tend to not remain secrets. I was a hiring manager at a large company for years and would never have considered hiring someone with whom I had a history that I wanted to keep secret. Even the appearance of a conflict of interest can stain your reputation.
  24. LOL. I thought this post was going to lead to this: How hot are you?
