  2. They need a decent copy editor to clean up their site content. That said, they are being paid to massage and wax, not write.
  3. I'm surprised Dyson hasn't developed a Roomba-style vacuum. Their 50 billion teraflop model wouldn't miss any dust. Mind you, the furniture might get sucked in, but that's the chance one must take. Wonder how many teraflops would be required to calculate the probability of that happening.
  4. Exactly. Even if Marriott does not counter and Anbang prevails, there is nothing that says an Anbang-controlled Starwood can't and won't modify the Starwood loyalty program.
  5. Right. That is about Starwood accepting Anbang's offer. Doesn't say Marriott is not pursuing a higher offer.
  6. So far, none of the articles I've read mention anything about Marriott not proceeding, including the WSJ article cited above. All have said Marriott has not commented and has until March 28 to make a decision. Am I misreading?
  7. I'm not sure why I didn't think to Google his YouTube screen name followed by Xtube. I've JO'd to "The_X_File's" vids for a few years. Definitely him. Glad I could help.
  8. Several newspapers are now requiring people to log in using Facebook for that very reason. Not that it prevents everyone from spewing nonsense, but it does stop some.
  9. Doing a Google search on his email addy revealed links to his YouTube Channel, but nothing on Xtube. I noticed he has not posted new content in a while, so it is not unlikely that he has taken down his XTube channel. Alternatively, you could shoot him an email, compliment him on his reviews, and ask if he could share his XTube name with you.

He will probably have plenty of time to contemplate those differences once he is sentenced. Then again, he might simply write a letter to the State of Michigan complaining about the quality of the linens and lack of concierge services at his hotel, a/k/a "prison."
  11. He has been using pictures 6 - 10 for several years.

This is one of those times where the following words of wisdom come to mind:
  13. Back in 2001 I worked for a healthcare technology company. The guy in the next cubicle had AT&T as his provider, complete with their then-signature ringtone that was as annoying as all get out. Especially when said co-worker would leave his cell phone on his desk, ringer turned up, and walk away for an hour or two while the cell phone went off every ten minutes. He was warned several times and told to turn the ringer off. One day, the thing went off seven or eight times within an hour and our director grabbed it, tossed it in the toilet, fished it out, dried it off, and put it back on his desk. He silenced the ringer on the replacement.
  14. I'm glad to hear your hands are doing better and healing so well. That is truly amazing.
  15. First, GMan, thanks for posting this. The scrambled eggs with tomato and mushrooms sounds yummy! I like 'em firm, too. Firm with mushrooms and tomatoes. I'm with you on all counts, including your seasonings of choice.
  16. Agreed. There's something about the lighting in pictures 1 and 2 that makes his skin look "off."
  17. He looks great! Didn't realize he was 37. Time flies.

No intel on these guys, but I recommend Michael Vincenzo with absolutely NO reservations. Great guy and sexy as they come.
  19. I recall her being alive, but as another poster mentioned I would not classify that as "living."
  20. I agree with Epigonos about The Getty and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Like the architecture, love the gardens, not so crazy about the art at The Getty. The Met seems like a jumble to me. I grew up visiting The Art Institute of Chicago and still count it among my favorite museums. The museum as it stands today is a series of additions to the original museum. While it can seem like a patchwork quilt of buildings, one advantage of its design is the ability to walk at a normal pace when moving from one area to another. Like The Met, the art collection has some great works and some not so great works.
  21. There was that series of gay detective novels back in the late 1990's/early 2000's. I think the protagonist was an LAPD detective, maybe an LA Sheriff's detective. They weren't too bad. Can't get into the gay romance. I tend to read mostly non-fiction, anyway.
  22. Have to say, that review left me scratching my head. Not sure wht the reviewer would recommend the guy. To be honest, I wonder if the review is legit.
