Class-action lawsuits have a way of prompting change. I LOVED my iMac right up to the day when it fell over as I was moving it and the screen shattered. Having purchased it from Apple before the AppleCare warranty covered accidental damage, I was looking at a $1,200 repair bill. That's when I bought the MacBook Pro. Should have repaired the iMac.

A very close friend who is the same age as me had an annoying colleague who kept saying "back in the day." The colleague was, at the time, 35 and my friend was 37 or 38. One day my friend heard "back in the day" one too many times and said "honey, we are both too young to say 'back in the day.' THIS is the day we will be back to in 20 years!" The colleague stopped saying "back in the day."

Until the keyboard stops working due to the design flaw that Apple refused to address until after the third class-action lawsuit was filed. They were great computers prior to about 2014/2015. Now, not so much.

In my experience, there is so much going on that guys have an understandably hard time committing to an appointment. When I have been able to make an appointment, the guy squeezed me in between commitments with friends. Additionally, I've been in the position when I've been on a schedule because of other plans.

True that! Then there's the touch bar. Another feature nobody asked for. The root of all this is computers have come a long way and aside from better, more powerful chips (which Apple does not make standard in their computers) there's not a whole lot of innovation to be done. So Apple did dumb things. Like the keyboard nonsense. Oh, and the new touchpads that you have to strike hard to do something. Meanwhile, on my new HP I can touch the touchpad, nit hit it with a mallet. (OK, I am exaggerating - but it's fun!) I've tried using my iPad (which I REALLY like) as a laptop replacement. It was OK for a few days, but it just wasn't the same. Problem is many sites that have a mobile and desktop site recognize it as a mobile device and serve up the mobile version of a website. That might be addressed with the iPad-centric OS.

Do you have the receipt? It would have the associate number printed somewhere on it. I was asked to provide the name of the person who told me my photo would be on the back of the card, because that is no longer done. I didn't know that either. She told me it's not uncommon for breaks to be given by associates who aren't aware of all of the brand new changes in membership policies, such as no photos on the new cards, as this is quite new. So does the membership card work now?

Cute Critters to Take Our Minds Off Everyday Stresses
rvwnsd replied to + quoththeraven's topic in The Lounge
Scottish Folds are so named because their ears are folded down, like this: However, about 30% - 50% of the cats do not have folded ears. They are referred to as "peak-eared" or "straight-eared" and look like this: They have the same pushed-in round face, but their ears don't fold. When breeding, you always have to breed a peak- and folded-ear or two peak-eared cats. Two folded-ear cats can yield kittens that have spine issues and brittle bones. I haven't migrated all of my photos off my Mac to my PC yet, else I'd post a pic of Willy and his sister, Hillary. Once I do, I'll post it. -

No, but he was a sneaky escape artist. His cuteness and sweet nature (peaked ear Scottish Fold) made up for it. -
Gee, he could do your taxes, represent you in case of an audit, and fuck your brains out. Talk about full-service!!

A word of caution about the newer Macbooks - think twice before you buy one. I bought a Macbook Air in 2013. Loved it. In 2018 my desktop broke when it tipped over and I decided to replace it with a Macbook Pro. Terrible mistake. The keys are funky and have a tendency to stick. After a year the battery life deteriorated to about two - three hours max on a charge. It constantly froze when doing simple tasks like saving a picture or reading email. Each time Apple released an upgrade the computer seemed to perform worse. Finally, I bought an HP Spectre 360x and love it.

How open are most escorts to specific requests?
rvwnsd replied to opentoideas's topic in Questions About Hiring
The only sure-fire way to find out is to ask the escort you are interested in hiring. While I have never asked an escort to engage in cosplay, I do have an interest in thongs, speedos, jockstraps, and singlets. I always ask if a guy is open to wearing them. A few guys have told me that they are not interested and I was able to decide whether that one aspect of play was important enough to refrain from meeting. Most have been open or actually enjoyed it. It really just depends. Role-play would be tough. In addition to being a good actor, you have to remember what to do. I can see where in the heat of passion lines could easily be forgotten. -
How seriously do you take 1-hour meetings?
rvwnsd replied to Ghadd's topic in Questions About Hiring
I don't think the issue is with the escort you hired or escorts in general. I think the issue yours and your attitude toward yourself. This assumes that you are a lesser client? Why do you think you are not as good as other clients? So this has gone from to "he faked his orgasm" in a matter of minutes. It seems to me that you have to ask yourself what you want from a session and clearly articulate that to the next escort you contemplate hiring. -
Actually, that is not true. You or I could become an enrolled agent, despite not having a lick of experience or education in taxation. Upon passing a test, albeit not an easy one, an applicant becomes an Enrolled Agent. Check out this page from the Internal Revenue Service for details.

Here is a thread about him when his RM name was "NateReal." It is always wise to search for variants of a name or phrase when seeking information. That principal applies in general as well as on this forum.

I forgot to answer your question when replying to @Epigonos's post. Tax Attorneys do not typically prepare tax returns on behalf of clients. The tax attorneys who advertise on the radio do so to represent taxpayers during an audit and/or in tax court. As @Epigonos stated, an Enrolled Agent can represent a client during an audit, as can a CPA. It is wise to look beyond the credential and look at the training and experience of the individual you hire to prepare your taxes. As I mentioned in the other post, a CPA in private practice will typically have studied taxation before attempting to prepare tax returns on behalf of their clients. They would be foolish not to and will not have much of a practice if they don't. That said, a CPA working for a Big 4 firm who specializes in examining financial statements, forensic accounting, or conducting/supervising internal control exams will likely not have the training to prepare tax returns for someone with a complex financial situation. Likewise, a CPA who specializes in taxation would not be the best source of advice on how to set up the accounting structure for a complex business.
